Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Corner Brook

You'll arrive in Corner Brook and get settled into your hotel for your first night. This is where your Newfoundland and Labrador adventure begins, so take time to get oriented and rest up before the journey ahead.

  2. Day 2

    Corner Brook to Cow Head

A transfer takes you from Corner Brook toward Cow Head in Gros Morne National Park. Along the way, you'll stop at the Newfoundland Insectarium to walk through the butterfly house where around 1,000 live tropical butterflies are on display. You'll arrive in the late afternoon, meet your tour guide and group, and settle in for the evening.

  3. Day 3

    Gros Morne National Park

You'll take a scenic boat tour on Bonne Bay where you can watch for bald eagles soaring above the fjord, then visit the Tablelands, a striking flat-topped mountain rising from the landscape. If you prefer a different route, there's an alternative option for a boat tour on Western Brook Pond and a visit to Broom Point Fishing Premises, though that option involves a 45-minute walk each direction totaling 3 km/2 miles.

    • Bonne Bay scenic boat tour
    • Tablelands visit

    Optional Activities

You'll leave Gros Morne and drive through Central Newfoundland toward Gander. Once there, your guide will share the town's remarkable story from September 11, 2001, when 38 diverted planes suddenly landed here, leading to the Broadway musical 'Come From Away'. The North Atlantic Aviation Museum showcases exhibits on Gander's transatlantic aviation history and gives you insight into this unique chapter.
