    We do have the option for 08 - 16 September 2026 on the larger group basis of up to 48 travelers max. The small group departure is only departing 01 - 09 September 2026 with a max of 26 travelers. The cost for a single traveler currently is $5,010

    Is this the same as the Anderson Discovery tour. and what is charge for private accommodation?

    I don't believe the Anderson Discovery tour is a tour sold by On The Go Tours. Please may you advise how long this tour is so that I can have a look for you?

  In 2025 there were a lot of forest fires in Newfoundland. If this happens in 2026 near our tour what happens?

    Newfoundland tours are rarely impacted by wildfires compared to other parts of Canada, but safety is always the top priority. If there were any fires or local conditions affecting areas on the itinerary, our local team would simply adjust the route or sightseeing to avoid impacted regions while still delivering the best possible experience.
    
    In the unlikely event that a major disruption occurred, we would of course communicate options with you as early as possible.
    
    So far there's no indication of any issues for the 2026 season, and June through September is generally a great time to travel in Newfoundland.

  We are very flexible on dates. However, we do not like large bus tours. We prefer mini-bus sizes (16 people max) where it feels more intimate. That said, is there a particular tour that can give us the smaller group size? Also, my wife has some mobility issues (I have none). What is the activity level? Finally, we would like to be able to see L'Anse aux Meadows either before or after the regular tour. Can this be arranged?

    I would then suggest the Newfoundland Discovery tour - small group which is a maximum of 26 people and transportation will be in a private mini-coach. The physical rating of this tour is rated as easy - A moderate amount of walking is required during sightseeing, with some free time, offering a balance between activity and relaxation. As a general rule, you should be able to walk 2-kilometres without stopping. We unfortunately cannot assist with the L'Anse aux Meadows but you can speak to the guide and usually the would be quite helpful in organzing something whilst on tour for you.

  im wondering about the cancellation policy for this tour

    Please find below our cancellation policy: A notice of cancellation will only take effect from the date on which we receive this request in writing. Since we incur costs in cancelling your arrangements, cancellation charges will be applied as shown below calculated from the day when written notice is received by us. However, in addition to the charges shown below, flight and/or train tickets may be non-refundable. 60 days or more: Deposit only. 31 - 59 days: 50% of total holiday cost or deposit - whichever is greater. 30 days or less: 100% of total holiday cost. Where possible, we will deduct the cancellation charge(s) from any monies you have already paid to us. Should one or more member of a party cancel, it may increase the per person holiday price of those still travelling and you will be liable to pay this increase.
