    Are we expected to apply for the visa in advance or is there time to get it on the spot? Do we carry our own backpack or just a daypack? Is transportation from Kathmandu Airport included? Are permits and other documents included? Are april and may high months in terms of tourist flow? Is availability of good sleeping quarters assured? Is it better to leave in April or May? Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu are not included? Is hot shower to be paid extra during trekking? Insurance is incl mountaineering coverage + cancellation insurance? Is it recommended to use a local sim card? Is there an info moment before departure?

      About the visa you can do as an advance but to save your time and easy you will get on the spot at Kathmandu international airport. Normally this package not include Porter. Some trekkers use Porter some not use. If you are able to carry your own backpack then no need Porter. If you will not able to carry your backpack the hiring Porter cost $300 who will carry both of your luggage. Yes Kathmandu airport to Hotel transport is included. All necessary permits are included during trek. From March to until 30th May is the high season but still you will get Tea House during Trek and nice Hotel in Kathmandu. My suggestion if you prefer more warm then better May otherwise both month are supper weather. Yes during city Kathmandu Lunch and Dinner are excluded. Yes hot shower, Wifi and personal expenses are need to pay yourself. For coverage mountaineering and cancelation you need to buy from your site. Our insurance cover only for our staff (Guide and Porter). It depends on you but buying sim card is very cheap. Yes we do pre meeting before start the Trek.

    I'm traveling to Nepal by myself and am looking to do the three passes trek. I'm not looking to do a private tour; I'm on a budget and would like to save as much money as possible (don't care if I sacrifice comfort/convenience) so I was wondering if there are any groups I can join within my time frame of around May 6th?

Also no need private cost. May is getting less tourist and difficult to find the other clients so better book yourself and do the most beautiful Trek.

    Is it possible for me to book this tour with just one person? If I choose the group tour, would I just be with a larger group of travelers or would I have to book the tour alone? Also, I am still working on the dates for travel, do you have a recommended season to go? I would really love to see the mountaineers and climbers and I know that is usually earlier, through May? Is there another ideal time to go?

      The trek itself is the best and most demanding trek in the Everest Region. If you are physically fit then it will be the best option. The best time for this Trek is March 15 to May last and September to till 15th December. Normally its group joining trek where small group.

      About the snow not much only if there is havey snowing then can be difficult otherwise trekkers do on this time. I think the temperature will -15 to -20 in the night but during day will be 3 to 5°. About the wind it will normal which will acceptable.

      The temperature will be same base camp or three pass. Everest Base Camp you can do without any problems. My concern is if we are doing three pass we need to cross some high pass in same time if there is have snowing then it will difficult. So my suggestion is book this trek and we will do our best. If due to bad weather if we can't cross the pass we will bring you base camp and rest of days explore around Gokyo and lower part.

      About the Porter we will talk when you are in Kathmandu. Normally the cost is reasonable but as your request we will talk later. Actually the cost for trek is cheaper because we didn't include Porter on package so please understand.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before May 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Eco Holidays Nepal. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
