I went on a personal day safari with my spouse in the Ngorongoro Crater. Even though we could only go on a one-day safari, the vacation was fantastic. The tour guides were really professional, kind, and informed. Additionally, the cost was rather affordable and slightly lower than that of other tour operators for comparable packages. Our tour guide was excellent at identifying and pointing out a wide variety of fascinating species. Lunch fare was excellent and abundant. Speaking with our guide about the culture and native tribes in the area was very fascinating. All in all, we had an excellent day and are delighted that we reserved with Lights on Africa. This company is highly recommended by me.Show more

Additionally, the cost was rather affordable and slightly lower than that of our tour operators for comparable packages. I’ve rated so called “river crossing” trip as 4, simply because I didn’t see the river crossing within whole 3-day. It’s of course nothing to do with the organizer and guide, but bad luck. In fact our guide was very good. Tried everyday very hard and let us to see as many animals as possible, to learn about the names of those wild animals and their lifestyle, as well as meet our requests in most of times. The organizer was very responsive and arranged everything without mistakes, so made our trip smoothly and no worries at all. As far as the accommodations, the first couple of days was good, the ones in Serengeti were acceptable, i didn’t have high expectations on the camping. Following two recommendations: 1, we are not interesting to see wild animals at far distance, but prefer to take longer time whenever there are opportunities to see animals closer and enjoying the moments. 2, my flight time in the last day from Serengeti to Arusha was to early, and we had to leave from the camp to airport at about 6am,Show more

- For any tour departing before June 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 35% is required to confirm your booking with Lights on Africa Destinations & Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
