  The tour itself was interesting and enjoyable. There should be more transparency about approximately how much free time is available in each city. The big negative for me was the tour director made some racially targetted comments about Indians which were not appropriate in any day or age. I am highly disappointed that I have paid thousands of dollars to be on this tour and had to listen to people of my race being mocked and belittled by the person leading the tour. The comments weren't targeted at me but still targetted at people of my ethnicity. Why am I being made to feel inferior because of my ethnicity? Disgraceful behaviour. I would recommend this tour but not the tour director we had.Show more

  Recently embarked on the Trafalgar whirlwind European tour and, wow, what a journey it was! This tour's a brilliant pick for those who like ticking off all the major European highlights in one go. From the romantic streets of Paris to the historic allure of Rome, we covered all of the iconic sights. It's a bit of a sprint, though, so brace yourself for a fast-paced adventure. This might be a tad challenging for the folks who prefer a more leisurely pace or have some mobility concerns. Our guide, Brendan, was an absolute legend – knowledgeable, engaging, and always on the ball. He brought the stories of Europe alive with his insights. If you're up for a comprehensive European experience, this tour's the ticket. Just pack your best walking shoes!Show more

  There was a lot more walking than i anticipated. The step on and off the van is often extremely steep and there should be a stool to assist to reduce the distance. The really early starts after late night endings is also difficult, very rushed at times.Show more

To help our guests get the best out of their destination in the snapshot of time they have, some of our trips may include early starts and late nights so that we can showcase and access many of the country’s great sites. Our team strives to provide the most unique and enjoyable guided trips for all our guests, and we’re saddened to read that you feel we missed the mark in this instance. We understand that an active itinerary can be very tiring. Our sister company, Insight Vacations, features a balanced itinerary that does not include too many steps, and the maximum walking per day for our European Dream is from 1.6 – 4.8km per day, and it might involve some uneven surfaces, such as cobblestones and stairs.
