We currently do not have a September 13, 2026 for this tour. However, we do have a tour called Athens, Mykonos & Santorini but the closest start date to your arrival date is the September 11, 2026 Departure and by the time that you arrive, the tour group would already be in Mykonos by then.

How long are we on the bus for each day of the tour?

It is difficult to tell you exactly how long you will spend on the coach as some driving days are longer than others. We can assure you that we try to make our journeys as comfortable as possible. Many of the countries we visit are vast and varied, and there will be some long driving days on your tour. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy watching the changing countryside as it rolls past your window, to share music with your fellow travellers, watch a few movies or get involved in some of the games and quizzes hosted by your tour leader. Where possible, we have also included stops at points of interest in order to give breaks during the long drives. We have many early mornings so travellers also often take the time on the coach to rest. We make regular stops for your comfort every 2-2.5 hours, so you will get to stretch your legs and get something to eat on a regular basis.

Where is the start point i.e. city and end city to book flights

The tour both starts and ends in Athens, Greece. Hotel allocations are subject to change, and we aim to avoid providing inaccurate details. It will most likely be located in or near the city centre, close to key attractions and convenient transport links. We recommend checking back with us around 90 days before departure for the most up-to-date details.

The cost of the adventure does not include optional extras. Optional excursions and additional activities are not included in the base tour cost. These optional activities are designed to enhance your travel experience and can be purchased separately.

Will the taste of Greece tour be operating in June 2025?

Generally, tour dates for 2025 are released in the mid to late stages of 2024. We advise monitoring our website closely to secure your spot as soon as bookings for departures open.

Is the tour operating in September 2025

Currently, the 2025 Tour Dates for our Taste of Greece is not yet released and available for booking. However, this tour does operate in September and it should be one of the Options once the 2025 Dates are posted.

Are international flights included in the tour price?

Whilst internal flights are covered for certain itineraries, you will have to make your way to the meeting point for the start of your tour. Generally the tour was good value but blighted too often on archaeological sites by specialist guides embarking on detailed, academic commentaries which halted the group's timely progress through the entire site. Sights were left unseen and photo opportunities were therefore missed. Guides should ensure stops are brief and commentaries simplified but still informative - after all we are interested tourists, not university students.
