can you please send me inside picture of tent, do they have bathroom facility inside the tent? Possible to get my own tent?

The tents do not have bathrooms inside. The provided tents include a camping sleeping mattress per person. Single supplements are not applicable. Solo travellers will share a tent with a fellow solo passenger of the same gender. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow, and towel. The bathrooms are communal.

Would there be a price difference if we had separate individual tents? He's also mostly a vegetarian but eats chicken. Is that a problem? Are the tents comfortable and are there any sleeping mats with the tents?

I am not able to promise single tents but there is often the opportunity to upgrade locally to cabins/ rooms (subject to availability) if that might assist in any way. Tents are 'dome safari' style tents, easy to pitch and roomy enough for two people. We provide foam mattresses but you must bring your own sleeping bag. In regard to meals, we cater for most dietary requirements so your friend will be fine.

The experience in Kruger was fantastic, seeing many animals in their natural surroundings. Moyaney and elias were both fantastic. The area we covered was amazing with lots of differet experiences. Sani pass was terrifying but a must do on the trip. Not on the list again. Seeing how people lived in eswantini, lesotho was humbling. The school vist was beautiful. Education has to be paid for which makes a significant difference to childrens futures. The food was mostly good, but dud not like the maize mash, it an acquired taste. There was an alternative. What an amazing shepherds pie we had. 10 out of 10 Moyaney. St Lucia ia memorable fir accomodation, hippos and alternative activities. I would love to have stayed longer. Such a wonderful mix of destinations, camp sites etc, a once in a lifetime trip. Durban was a let dow. Organisation was great, drives at times long but with a good group, music and laughter it was ok. I would have loved more 2 night stays.Show more

The tour was great and saw a lot of animals. We were able to see many animals at all the parks and various sights to see through all three countries. My biggest complaint is that there are many long drives which I understand but the bus was not very comfortable on the roads. Luckily, there were a few of us so we could spread out but if you had a full tour, it would not be comfortable. Also, lunch was to be included but on some days, we were given money to buy ourselves something. That would be fine if it was enough to buy something to eat where we stopped. Either provide more funds or plan on packing lunch that we could eat on the road (which we did a couple of days). Lastly, if you indicate that they are optional add-ons, you should have the information on how we can do them at the stops and make sure there is enough time to do them. We missed whale watching because we didn't know we had to book it ourselves a head of time. If traveling in the winter months, be prepared to be cold during the night and the mornings, but the termperatire did warm up through out the day.Show more

  I noticed that al the customer feedback except for one is over five years old and that all the great comments about the tour leader is a guy that is not even there anymore. The only fairly recent comments are someone who had issues with the lunch dispersals and lack of information about booking some activities before hand. Are these issues rectified?

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Acacia Adventure Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Acacia Adventure Holidays will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Acacia Adventure Holidays" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Acacia Adventure Holidays. Please familiarize yourself with the Acacia Adventure Holidays payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
Accessibility
