I was very impressed by all his background knowledge, about wild life, history, politics and everything! Moreover he has the right spirit to engage the whole group and give everyone a fantastic time. And he is a great chef!!!
For my next trip to Africa I would definitely look to book a trip lead by Papa G!!!

Great tour with amazing people and very knowledgeable guide & driver! Thoroughly enjoyed the mix of safari, nature, hiking, exploring and engaging with the local residents. Great selection of additional activities, so that everybody could individually decide what to do and follow his interests. G was the best guide we could have asked for! He also prepared very tasty meals every day and shared a lot of interesting aspects and personal stories of his southafrican live. I had the best time travelling with Acacia and I would highly recommend this tour with G!

Gee was an absolutely fantastic guide - very knowledgeable about the places, people, history, animals....every topic you could think…The last leg of our three stages travelling Cape Town to Cape Town. Gee was an absolutely fantastic guide - very knowledgeable about the places, people, history, animals....every topic you could think of! Always happy to answer any further questions or just have a chat. Excellent sense of humour and very witty (especially in a musical sense). The tour would not have been as enjoyable without Gee as our guide.

Gee was the best rep I’ve had, he has set the bar very high now, I went on two other tours with separate companies and nothing compares. Gee takes great pride in his trips from the amazing food he coo…Gee was the best rep I’ve had, he has set the bar very high now, I went on two other tours with separate companies and nothing compares. Gee takes great pride in his trips from the amazing food he cooked us (especially the veggies, dairy allergy and gluten allergy that was in our group ) to asking everyone what they wanted from their trip ie excursions and giving us all the info we needed he even arranged it for us. Due to my allergies I was worried I would struggle in a camp environment and in fact I put weight on and ate like a Queen -which I didn’t expect in Africa. Not only was gee’s veggie spag Bol the best I’ve ever had he is really knowledgeable and would explain key facts and stories about everywhere we went. I had the best time on this trip and South Africa is now my 1.

This was the trip of a lifetime!! I knew I was going to enjoy myself but I didn't expect to walk away with the memories and experiences i did from this trip. I got to experience all the different side…This was the trip of a lifetime!! I knew I was going to enjoy myself but I didn't expect to walk away with the memories and experiences i did from this trip. I got to experience all the different sides of Africa from the safari life to the mountain tops, the desert to the beach. When I travel I usually finish a trip and think yay I've ticked that one off whats next but after this Im already planning my trip back and seeing what else I can discover. I honestly don't even think i can put into words how much I loved having Gee as my tour guide. His knowledge for absolutely everything to do with Africa blew my mind. He went above and beyond all expectations I had. His cooking may have made me 10kgs heavier but it was delicious. No matter how random the question he always had the answer or did whatever he could to find it out. Thank you Gee - you're one of a kind!

Apart from being friendly and an all round good person he went over and above his call of duty for me when I got sick...having driven over an hour to the nearest hospital and waiting for 3 hours until I was done..all with a smile on his face. I really enjoyed every moment of this tour and it included a range of experiences from Safari game drives, beaches, mountains, forests, hikes and even something for the adrenaline lovers (the Bungy jump)
Absolutely amazing, would reccomend to everyone!!

Our tour guide Gerhard & Coenie were amazing, really became like a family over the course of the 19 days.
The tour had a slice of everything, National Park game drives, beaches, mountains, hiking and for those who love an adrenaline rush.. bungy jumping which was perfect.
We were even considering extending our tour we loved it so much but decided we would just come back next year.
Would recommend acacia, Africa and G & Coenie to everyone!!!!

Tour Guide was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative and went over and above the call of duty to ensure that everyone had a memorable trip. He also bonded extremely well with the group. The quality of food greatly exceeded expectation for a trip in Africa and again credit for this goes to the Tour Guide who prepared the meals. All things considered, this is a trip that will live long in the memory!

Kruger to Cape Town Accommodated (from Pretoria to Cape Town)
Tour was amazing, great iternerary hosted well by G and his cooking skills are incredible. Bus was extremely cold as I went in winter so would suggest some heating be available.
Loved all of the tourguide‘s knowledge and his passion for his country and all it has to offer.
We had a fantastic time with lots of laughter and positive energy!
