Please can you confirm if the 12th March 2022 departure date is guaranteed to depart?

The pandemic has significantly impacted on tourism, including in Africa and while the 12 March tour is available and open, I am afraid it is not guaranteed, and with no other clients currently booked we think it is unlikely it will be able to operate. If you are able to travel later in the year I think it is more likely that we will be able to be more certain about the tour.

What is the Adventure Pass?

Every Acacia Overland tour has an Adventure Pass which is paid to your tour leader in Africa at the beginning of the tour (or pre-paid by arrangement prior to your tour). This is separate and in addition to the Tour Price, and covers selected park entries, activities and excursions along the way where payment goes directly to the supplier to ensure local suppliers benefit directly from the income.

Our guide "G" was not only knowledgable but an amazing chef and was able to accommodate all the dietary needs of those on the trip including 4 vegetarians. Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Acacia Adventure Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
