Are there any age restrictions for children on the Langtang Valley Trek? My youngest boy is almost 10 years old.

Cost includes: 6 nights mountain accommodation, 3 meals each day during trekking, one experienced English Speaking guide, 3 porters to carry bags, all necessary permits, local bus transfer from Kathmandu to Kathmandu. The total cost will be US$ 398 per person x 5 Person = US$ 1990.

How difficult is the trek?

This trek is known for being a moderate trek, do not worry you do not need any special training however you do need to be able to walk about 5/6 hours a day.

When is the best time do this trek?

The Langtang Valley Trek can be done at any month of the year, however, it is recommended to do the trek between September and June. Generally, from June onwards it is Monsoon season which can bring lots of rain showers and unpredictable weather.

What kinds of accommodation can we expect on the tour?

During the trek, you will experience staying in traditional Tea Houses which is basic lodge accommodation and it will be based on twin-share.

What types of meals can we expect on the trek?

You can get up to 3 meals a day included on the trek, the meal choices can range from Nepali, Thakali and Indian to Western.

Is tipping compulsory?

On this tour tipping is not compulsory however if you wish to leave the guide and porter a tip it is at your own discretion.

Will there be charging facilities on the trek?

There will be charging facilities at the tea houses you will visit however there can be an extra charge to use them which normally ranges from 3-5USD per device.

What happens if I get altitude sickness on the trek?

A general headache and cough can be very normal in the mountain due to the colder weather and higher altitude however if you are unsure or feel really unwell make sure you let a representative know and they will guide you down to a lower altitude.

What is the risk of getting altitude sickness?

It is hard to define when or who will get altitude sickness whilst completing a trek as altitude sickness is very unpredictable and can affect even the fittest of people. However, it is important to note that around 99% of trekkers can do the Langtang Valley Trek without problems. Do not worry if you do begin to feel unwell just make sure you let a representative know so the appropriate steps can be taken to get you back to yourself in no time.

If u r looking for someone professional, available 24/7 (both before and during the trip), reliable and easily dealing with any emergency just give Dipendra a call :) I have done 1 week Langtang trekk and 1 week cultur trip with Scenic Nepal Trekk and both parts of the trip were amazing. Guys are very flexible and can make adjustments to the schedule depending on what you are keen on. Everything was organized on the very professional manner, 5 stars for great communication as well (help with visa&documents before the arrival, dealing with unexpected issues, scheduling pcr tests etc). Doesn't matter if u crave for nature, local life experience or a fancy trip out of the city. I had an amazing time on my LangTang trek and have already booked another trip to Nepal using Scenic Nepal treks a 2nd time! highly recommended :) Ahsok our guide was professional, helpful and ensured our safety and comfort throughout the whole experience. Any questions or queries we had he was always happy to help. What made our trip exceptional was the personable nature of both guide and porter. Our guide went above expectations telling us things and making it a truly local experience. Itinerary: Well organised, allows flexibility if we needed prior to starting trek. Good amount of walking each day with time to rest in the afternoon. Transportation: was good Accommodation: Good for the mountains. Comfortable basic and clean. Great communal areas were fellow travellers could meet around the fire place to share stories. Meals: Great mix of traditional or western. Depending on what you wanted. Always different options available. Guide: Great, personable and full of extra knowledge giving us a full experience. He went further than expectations and told us about local festivals, meanings of things etc. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed :) Scenic Nepal Treks was an amazing company and I am more than satisfied.   Is it possible to transfer by jeep instead of local bus? What will be the price for that? Do we need one or two jeeps for 5 persons?

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
