Arrival back in Johannesburg (return from the 4 day 'Kruger' trip) falls on the 26th and drop off can be arranged to be at the Airport. Drop off in normally around 5:00 PM at the airport.

I would like to know immediately if my group of 18pax can be accommodated anytime in October 2025

Are you able to advise an idea of the timeframe the group is looking to travel during the month of October so we are able to check availability accordingly. Are you also able to please advise room preferences so we have an idea of the number of rooms that will be required in order again availability and quote accordingly. DOUBLE rooms offers 1 double bed for 2 persons sharing in a private room. TWIN rooms offers 2 seperate beds (twin beds) for 2 persons sharing in a private room. SINGLE room package offers 1 bed for 1 person in a private room.

The title is misleading because: A. you do NOT get 11 days of tour, but only 7 effective days. The first days...
The title is misleading because: A. you do NOT get 11 days of tour, but only 7 effective days. The first days the driver will just pick you up from the airport and drop off to the hotel!! Uber would have been enough. Then you have other 2 FREE days in Cape town where you are alone, and you have to pay for everything you do (such as the hop-on hop off tour). The last morning the driver will pick yo uup from the hotel and drop you off to the airport. Therefore 4 days are not used as a real tour!!! BE AWARE OF IT. B: you do NOT get 4 days at the kruger park, but just one day! Details: the first day is used to drive from Johannesburg to the park, and the last day to go back to Johannesbourg. Out of the 2 remaining days, only ONE day is spent inside the kruger park! the other day is spent between two private lodges. We have met people that were staying inside the park in nice hotels/accommodations and got to experience 4 full days in the kruger park. We haven't! C): 2 full days LOST inside the van. We could have fly. During the tour we have been asked to fly from Cape Town to Johannesbourg, then to sleep in johannesbourg and, the day after, a driver has driven us to kruger park. Well....it has been a waste of time and money, because we could have flew from Cape Town to Kruger!!!! we would have saved: - a full day wasted in the van - a night spent in the hotel in Johannesbourg -the cost of the driver to go to the kruger park. Attention please: It is clear that the tour company, called CAPE XTREME, wanted to make money from us adding activities such as the night spent in the hotel in Johannesburg and the 2 days driver activity. As example imagine to be in New York, drive to Washington, sleep in Washington, and then fly back to New Jersey!!!!!!! 4. Same situation has happened on the way back: we could have book the flight from the kruger park, to save one day, but CAPE XTREME has forced us to spend one full day in the van to go back to Johannesburg to sleep there! As mentioned above, we have wasted one full day of tour and we have wasted money for the driver and the night in the hotel 5: Additional bedroom not required. We were 3 guys. We have asked to sleep in one bedroom to save money. it has been denied us because we have been told that the rooms were only double. However in all the hotels the rooms had multiple beds: At the lodge near the kruger park our room had 4 beds!! but we had 2 different rooms with a total of 6 beds! Same in Cape Town. It is obvius that the tour company just wanted to generate additional business for the hotels, forcing us to get 2 bedrooms instead of one. We could have save lot of money using only one room. NOT recommended.Show more

Tariq was our very experienced guide in Cape Town, and he did an excellent job, give this man a raise! He was always punctual, knowledgeable and fun! He definitely was a highlight of our trip to SA. The tour itself is action packed, with early mornings and non stop activities, but this definitely a good thing when travellers want to see as much as they can in a short period of time. We would 100% book again with Cape Xtreme and would recommend to any of our friends back home.Show more

The communication with Eunice was excellent and she organised us our own twin room and bathroom. Our Capetown leg was amazing with Tariq our guide who was professional, informative, lots of fun and looked after us so well. Our backpackers were basic but clean and the trip from start to finish was so well organised. Our Jhb Kruger part of the trip was also amazing. We saw so many animals and our guides were informative and our accomodation was great. The best was staying in Marc’s treehouses where you will see the best of nature. If you are laid back, easy going and enjoy young people from different cultures and great experiences this trip is for you. We had a fabulous time touring Cape Town, the Garden Route and the Kruger Park Safaris. Tariq was a great tour guide. Competent, fun and always open to special requests. The tour of Cape Peninsular was spectacular and lots of fun. For the Garden Route, it rained every day. Nevertheless, Tariq made sure we got to the main venues. The rain made the Nature Park safari even more of an adventure. We were well looked after and never went hungry. Tariq made special efforts to try to get us to see the Pinnacle Point and San Peoples Anthropological sites, even though these were outside the planned itinerary. My wife Heather, a trained opera singer, even got to sing inside the Cango caves! We have the video. We enjoyed our stays at all the accommodations, and their was quite the variety - from urban guest houses to bamboo walled thatched roof huts for Kruger Park. The Kruger Park experience was incredible. We got sunny days and starry nights. Not only did we get to see the big five but we saw hippos, giraffes, a chita and hyenas. The two bush camps were so different - one an oasis in the dry savannah, the other a tree house in a riverine forest. We got unbelievable video of an off road chase to find a leopard, an elephant pushing over a tree and giraffes courting. Great trip and while worth the money. While the tours do involve some walking, it's generally at a moderate pace and over reasonable distances. We wouldn't classify it as strenuous, and most people with no, to a reasonable level, of fitness should be able to participate comfortably.
