  This is an excellent way to explore two countries via the Mekong River. After Hanoi and the Halong Bay cruise we flew to Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi, then followed the water through My Tho, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Chau Doc and Tra Su Sanctuary into Phnom Penh and on to the Angkor temples at Siem Reap. Hotels, boats and food were so good throughout. The river days felt unique and the border crossing was well organised. We are so happy with the mix of cities, delta life and temples. Thank you Danny Nguyen and his team for a smooth, memorable twelve days. Highly recommend this Vietnam–Cambodia route if you love rivers and want both countries in one trip.Show more

  For us, this tour package is the best itinerary and a well-organised way to cover Vietnam and Cambodia in under two weeks. We started in Hanoi, enjoyed the Halong Bay overnight cruise, then flew to Ho Chi Minh City for the Cu Chi Tunnels and a rich Mekong Delta journey through My Tho, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Chau Doc and Tra Su Sanctuary. Crossing into Cambodia by the river route and arriving in Phnom Penh felt special, and we finished with the magnificent Angkor temples in Siem Reap. If you do not have so much time – less than two weeks – but still want to visit Phnom Penh as well as the main highlights of both countries, you should book this tour package. The pace is efficient without feeling empty, and the combination of cities, bay, delta and temples gives a complete picture. The organisation was smooth, transfers worked well and the experiences were memorable from start to finish. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants Vietnam and Cambodia together, including Phnom Penh, without needing three full weeks. A smart and satisfying itinerary.Show more

  This is the best itinerary, far over our expectations, to discover Vietnam and Cambodia via the Mekong Delta because we love the waterway. Travelling this route was also a very saving price. From Hanoi and stunning Halong Bay to Saigon, Cu Chi, the Delta towns of My Tho, Can Tho and Chau Doc with Tra Su Sanctuary, then Phnom Penh and the magnificent Angkor temples – the highlights were all great.   hi tour operator(legend group) was not very organized, we had 5 of us waiting for 80 minutes at haloing bay to get back to Hanoi and at the end they put us into a bus which took additional an hour to pick passengers from 14 other locations and the return journey took more than 4 hours I had a scheduled flight same evening did not have time to change my cloths I was cheated on the boat from Vietnam to Cambodia by the local guide who was handling the visa to Cambodia,where is asked for $35 and as I did not have any change I gave him a $100 note and while giving the balance of $65 he slide two $20 fake note in between the rest of the notes I realised there are organized cheating where the tour operators are not taking much of a notice and there is no moral obligations and values not a good tour operatorShow more

  I recently had the incredible experience of taking the "Discovering Vietnam and Cambodia through the Mekong" 12-day tour with The Legend Travel team. Our group of 12 people spent two weeks exploring the beautiful landscapes, rich culture, and fascinating history of Vietnam and Cambodia. From the moment we arrived, the level of professionalism and commitment to making our tour the best it could be was evident. The tour guides were knowledgeable and passionate about the region, providing us with insightful information about the local culture and history. They were always available to answer any questions we had and were eager to share their love of the area with us.
