  We are two people looking to cycle 30-60 km and 500-1000m of climbing on road or gravel bikes in the fall of 2027. What tours do you offer that would be of interest to us.

    Based on the type of cycling you're looking for — approximately 30–60 km per day with 500–1,000 metres of elevation gain — I think our Moderate-grade small-group cycling tours could be a really great fit for you. Our Moderate trips are designed for cyclists who are comfortable spending regular time in the saddle. Most days average around 40–60 km of riding, with some energetic climbs along the way. Our classic cycling trips generally focus on asphalt and quiet country roads, but they are also suitable if you prefer to ride a road or gravel bike. All trips are led by an experienced local cycling leader, and we have a support vehicle with the group, so if you ever want to skip a climb or take a break, you have that option. Cycle the Dalmatian Coast – Croatia: This is a fantastic option if Croatia appeals to you. The route follows the spectacular Adriatic coastline, with island-hopping to Hvar and cycling through beautiful coastal scenery, lavender fields and historic vineyards. There are some lovely sustained climbs, with panoramic views of the mountains and sea. There are departures running through September and October 2027. Cycle Albania – Albania: If you're looking for somewhere a little more off the beaten track, Albania would be a great choice. The route takes you through the rugged Albanian countryside and along the Riviera, with rolling terrain and some more challenging climbs. The scenery is spectacular, and the riding should fit well with the distances and elevation you're looking for. Autumn departures are available in October 2027. Cycle Southern Spain – Murcia: This could be another excellent option, particularly for later in the autumn when temperatures are more comfortable. The itinerary takes you through quiet country lanes, the beautiful Ricote Valley, apricot orchards and semi-desert landscapes, with plenty of undulating riding and climbs to historic hilltop villages. Cycling the Baltic States – Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia: This 9-day adventure takes you through Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, including time in the historic capitals of Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. Along the way, you'll cycle through beautiful countryside and coastal landscapes, including the Curonian Spit and Lahemaa National Park, as well as visiting medieval towns and charming seaside villages. This trip is rated Leisurely, so it offers a gentler style of cycling than the Moderate trips above. The trip has an average group size of around 11, with a maximum of 16, and includes a local cycling leader and support vehicle. What you can expect on our cycling trips: Small groups with an average of around 12 riders. Local cycling leader: A professional leader accompanies the group and guides the routes. Support vehicle: Available throughout the trip to carry luggage and provide a lift if you need a break or would prefer to skip a particularly challenging climb. Bike options: You can bring your own road or gravel bike, or look at our available rental bikes. E-bikes: Available on some trips with advance booking if you would prefer some assistance on the steeper climbs.

    Cycle Albania – trip code :CAB. 8 days | Tirana to Tirana | Albania. This trip focuses entirely on Albania, combining mountain and coastal cycling with some fantastic cultural highlights. You'll ride through areas such as the Gramos Mountains and Vjosa Valley, visit historic Gjirokastër and Berat, explore Butrint, and finish with cycling along the beautiful Albanian Riviera. There are some good climbs on this itinerary, so it should appeal if you're looking for a more challenging cycling experience. Cycle the Balkans – Croatia to Albania – trip code: CCA. 8 days | Dubrovnik to Tirana | Croatia, Montenegro & Albania. This trip takes you through three countries in one week, starting in Dubrovnik and finishing in Tirana. Highlights include the Bay of Kotor, Luštica Peninsula, Mount Lovćen and Lake Skadar, along with beautiful coastal and mountain scenery. This is a Moderate-grade cycling trip. It would be a great choice if you like the idea of combining good cycling with the experience of travelling through several Balkan countries. Cycle Albania = a deeper exploration of Albania, with some stronger climbing days. Cycle the Balkans = three countries in one trip, with a great mix of Croatia, Montenegro and Albania and a slightly more Moderate cycling profile. Both offer small-group cycling with a local leader and support vehicle. Cycling the Baltic States – CBS. 9 days | Vilnius to Tallinn | Lithuania, Latvia & Estonia. If you'd prefer a more relaxed cycling experience while still seeing several countries, this could be a lovely option. You'll cycle through Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, with time in Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. Highlights include Trakai Castle, the Curonian Spit and Lahemaa National Park, along with coastal scenery and quieter countryside. The riding is generally gentler than CAB and CCA, with several days around 35–40 km.

    We do not have a trip that starts on June 30th. We do have a June 13th - 21st departure or a July 4th - 12th 2026 departure.
    
    if your wife is joining but not cycling, she would need to find her own transport at your own expense to get from destination to destination.

    A pannier bag is included and there is the facility to fit your own saddle if you wish to bring it. TourRadar does often offer sales and it is likely that they will offer a Black Friday special.

  Will the trip be conducted with E-bikes? If not, what is the cost of adding an E-bike? Does the tour leader ride along during bicycle tours?

    There are a limited number of E-bikes available on this tour. We would need to request to check availability. Electric bikes are an additional cost of £182. The guide does ride along with the group, and there is also a support vehicle that travels with the group.

    Electric bikes (e-bikes) are available for an additional cost of £182. These are Kalkhoff Endeavour or Ecobike X-Cross bikes. Frame sizes are small and medium, suitable for those between 150cm and 182cm in height. Subject to availability on first come first served basis and cost may change. Contact us for more details or to request your e-bike.

    Helmets are not included in our cycling trips. The Bike is included in the overall tour price yes. We also have Ebikes which are available upon request at a cost of £155 per person. These are subject to availability as there are only 6 Ebikes available per trip.
