All in all, a successful tour, perhaps a little too expensive in terms of a few elements, especially food / catering.   Yes, as a solo traveler, once you select your preferred hotel category and confirm your booking, you will have your own private room both at the hotels and on the overnight cruise boat in Halong Bay. The single supplement is already included in the price shown when you choose the solo traveler option. The room on the boat does have a private en-suite bathroom, ensuring your full comfort and privacy during the cruise. As for hotel differences, our coordination team arranges separate and precise pickup/drop-off schedules for each hotel. This is a guaranteed departure, and while group sizes can vary, we'll continue to update you as more travelers sign up.

  As a US citizen the visa fee is $25 it says. Do you think I can get my visa on arrival or should I do it ahead of time. Also, I will be visiting India from Washington DC before I come to Vietnam. I was wondering if I can pay the $249 due upon arrival in Indian rupees that I might still have with me. Can Indian rupees be easily exchanged to Vietnamese currency.

  As a U.S. citizen, you are required to obtain a visa prior to entering Vietnam. We strongly recommend applying for an e-Visa in advance through Vietnam's official e-Visa portal. The e-Visa is valid for up to 90 days and costs $25 USD for a single entry or $50 USD for multiple entries. Regarding your payment upon arrival, we prefer payments in U.S. Dollars (USD) or Vietnamese Dong (VND). While some currency exchange services in Vietnam may accept Indian Rupees (INR), it's not guaranteed, and exchange rates may vary. For a smoother experience, we recommend exchanging your INR to USD or VND before your arrival or using international credit/debit cards where accepted.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Legend Travel Group. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
