How large are the groups and what are the age ranges?

Unfortunately, the Discover Korea tour departing on March 7 and 14 is already fully booked and no longer available for reservation. However, if you are still interested in Korea travel products, we would be happy to send you a separate email with more information about our company and other available options.

Do you transport on a bus for long trips? I saw comments about van ride being uncomfortable. Where is the pickup for this tour? Do you need to arrive day before and can you provide hotel accommodations for that?

We always arrange clean and comfortable vehicles, including our mini vans. However, comfort can sometimes be perceived differently depending on personal preference. A large coach bus is assigned once the group size exceeds 10 participants. Currently, there are 5 people booked on this date, and since there is still plenty of time before departure, it is possible that the vehicle may be upgraded to a large bus if more guests join. If you are concerned about the vehicle type, another option would be to wait and consider booking after August. By then, the group size — and therefore the vehicle type — will likely be clearer.

Would it be possible to be taken to a hotel near the airport instead of the Indasong region?

We can arrange an airport transfer service for you at a cost of USD 90.

Will you pick me up at any hotel I choose in Itaewon or Gangnam District?

Can you pick me up at my hotel in Gangnam district?

Can you suggest any multi day tours across to Serokasan mountains? Staying at Sokcho? What is the cost of a private car & driver?

During peak season, traveling to Gangwon-do, especially Sokcho, can be very crowded. If you choose to use a Private Car Charter service, the cost will be approximately USD 350–400 one way. However, if I may personally suggest, the more convenient and economical option would be to take an express bus from Seoul Express Bus Terminal (Gangnam) to Sokcho Express Bus Terminal, and then use either a local bus or taxi to continue your journey. Seoul Express Bus Terminal (Gangnam) → Sokcho Express Bus Terminal: approx. USD 12–20 one way. Sokcho Express Bus Terminal → Seoraksan Cable Car (Seoraksan National Park): approx. USD 15–30 one way by taxi.

We want a 3* Hotel downtown. And we don't have a preferred itinerary yet. Would you suggest an itinerary covering culture places, night life, young activities...

want to add on Japan for a few days - can you help?

We do not operate any tours in Japan. If you wish to join a tour in Japan, we kindly suggest booking a separate tour after completing our Korea program.

We are traveling on the Korea 4 day tour and the information in the itinerary mentioned if there are ten or more, we will depart from a specific hotel via van. I believe there are more than ten booked so I wanted to know if we should book the hotel mentioned as we are arriving the day before and need accommodation.

The departure location from Hotel Amid applies only if there are 10 or more participants specifically for the Eastern 4-Day Tour. Some travelers are on a longer or earlier itinerary. If the number of participants does not reach 10, we will provide KTX train tickets for travelers to join the group in Busan instead. You do not need to book or stay at Hotel Amid, as it simply serves as a designated meeting point if required.

Is it possible to join the group when they arrive in Busan on the first day?

Yes, you can join the group in Busan but as the tour includes transportation from Seoul - Busan, we cannot give you a refund regarding this part.

The 4-day Eastern KoreaTour was enjoyable with great weather and delicious food. Mr. Jay was an amazing tour guide and made us laugh with his great sense of humor. One issue was the transportation from Seoul to Busan was tight and uncomfortable in a mini van with 7 people. A bigger spacious van/bus would have been preferred for the long 5hr ride. The hotel stay for the 4-days were very comfortable except for not having control of the cooling air system for our rooms. Rooms were hot. The daily buffet breakfasts had a variety of authentic delicious selections and drinks. My favorite was the Grand Josun with ocean view seating. The luxury bus driver, Mr. Kim, was excellent driving us safely to our destinations.Show more

The breakfast buffets were some of the best I’ve ever experienced! The tour bus was very comfortable…perfect for the long commutes between locations. Our tour guide, Mr. Jay, was patient, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. I appreciate that he spent a little time with each guest to get to know them. He is very proud of his country and passionate about his heritage. And, he is funny! The group lunches and dinners were excellent! The one negative is the 5.5-hour van ride from our hotel in Seoul to Busan. With 7 people in the van, it was not a comfortable ride. Overall, it was a good travel experience!Show more

He is very knowledgeable about all the items in the itinerary. The places that he took us for our included meals (both lunch and dinner) were great. The tour bus that we used was good and comfortable. Unfortunately, the private car ride to Busan left much to be desired. It was long and uncomfortable. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
