I assume you're referring to day 8, not the 9. The tour takes place by boat, so if you suffer from seasickness, I'd recommend skipping it — conditions can vary quite a bit. If you prefer, we can replace the tour with an excursion to Praia do Forte (which can be reached by car), leave the day free, or shorten the trip by one day. We're quite flexible.

Wondering how long before a November 2026 trip ro apply for the visa

The visa application process is actually quite fast and it usually takes only a few days to be completed.

Hotels are booked only after you make a reservation. The category is standard which is equivalent to a 3-star. To get an idea of the hotels you can take a look at the daily itinerary descriptions. The rooms are private. All transportation are included.

Can you please confirm that the single room price US$1.534,50? How many people are booked so far? Does the hotels have Wifi? Will she be travelling in a group?

Unfortunately, there was an error in the published price for the single room. The correct price (without any discounts) is $2,200 for the single room. There are no other participants and a minimum of two people is required. I would have to organize a private tour if the customer is traveling alone and is interested.

I see you now have 2026 dates. I am probably looking at November. My question is that I will be going to Florianopolis after the tour for a week or so. I am wondering which would be the best time to go.

Domestic flight schedules are typically not released until about 10 months before the travel date, and international flights are also currently unavailable—so it wouldn't be possible for anyone to book or confirm flights at this stage. Hotel rates and service fees are also not fully published yet. The best approach would be to wait until late 2025 or early 2026 to get a realistic and accurate quote. That will definitely be the most reliable option.

The tour I took just now in Dec. 2025 was 3-day Iguazu Falls from Rio which is no longer offered. The supplier Etours was very responsive both before and during the tour making sure things were happening according to what we needed. There were a few things they (Daria and team) helped us to find alternate ways to make sure our needs were accommodated. The most impressive is that they responded to one of the situations right away when I email them and make it right. I am thankful the way they responded instantly when things were not happening as planned. There was good communication by whatsapp from each driver before the pickup. The operator was for sure helpful and communicative always available to reply or to change some details when necessary. There were, however, some inaccuracies. For instance, a date of birth was inserted incorrectly on a flight (luckily I noticed it and they promptly fixed it). The price was not high compared to other agencies I checked but it was too high for what we got (half a day tours, transfers, hotels and a flight would amount to half of what we paid, considering we were 5 people). The hotels selected were nice (especially the one at the waterfalls). I was not aware that the day we landed at Iguazu was a national holiday (=pretty busy at the border, it took 5 hours to cross). The agency, however, should have known it and expected longer queues... therefore the fact they booked a hotel on the other side of the border seems a mistake in this situation. The local guides in Rio and Iguazu were nice and friendly.Show more

  Is this tour suitable for a solo traveller to meet a group out there? Do you know how big the group is likely to be and the make up of the group? General ages, solo travellers, etc.? During free time in the mornings or afternoons, how much time is there roughly? Enough to do an additional activity outside of the itinerary?

  Do you get many young (25-35) solo travellers on these tours? My concern is that I will be travelling solo and looking to make some connections, but feels unlikely if each activity is done with a different group.
