We thought the communication was very clear and quick. You could always reach mr Danny and mr Tony on Whatsapp to book an optional tour. We never had to wait 5 minutes for a transfer from the airport / train / bus to the hotel and back. We thought they were very friendly. We loved the trip to Halong Bay and Hoi An the most. We liked the trip to Ho chi Minh city the least. For a tip. The night train from hoian to danang was too crowded but it was very experienced. We would love to have a cabine for ourselves Maybe. Angkor Complex & Tonle Sap Lake were impressive places. Children on the lake need going to school. They have to be having good educations. it was all so well arranged and quick that is was worth it. This was a phenomenal trip to to Vietnam and Cambodia. Unlike other tours I have taken through TourRadar, we were not with one group and guide the entire time. We went from city to city with different guides. Mr. Danny of Legend travel organized the trip magnificently and made sure that we were taken care of every step of the way. Rest of the staff at the hotel were very good, friendly and helpful. 2.Would have preferred one guide in Vietnam instead of different guides every day. 3.Alba Spa Hotel in Hue was excellent and all the other hotels were about average. 4. The itinerary allows an introduction to the best of Vietnam and Cambodia for a reasonable price, nevertheless there's room for improvement. Hanoi is a good place to start the trip, especially with an accommodation in the vibrant old town. The visit to Halong Bay is heavily advertised with the chance to swim or to take a dip on three different occasions, which is actually prohibited by law since 2017. The reason is the threat caused by a poisonous jelly fish. Some beaches are secured and cleared for swimming, so that on a three day / two night visit to Halong Bay there's still a chance to safely do so. In addition has there been a mix-up (at least that's how it was explained to us) with our tour to Halong Bay, so that we ended up on a different boat with less programme and a far smaller cabin than advertised. Leaving vibrant Hanoi and making our way to Hué offered an insight to ancient Vietnam when the city has been the capital as well as to the more recent history as the Vietnam War was fought in the Imperial City. The accommodation in Hué was by far the best of the whole trip. From Hué did we make our way by car to Hoi An including a stop on the Hai Van Pass, where we couldn't fully enjoy the view due to the weather, and a very brief stop in Da Nang, reduced to the Cham museum and a five minute visit to the world-famous "Cua Dai Beach" as advertised in the program. This offered more time in Hoi An, but in all fairness the stop there could easily be reduced by a day and would still offer enough time to see the tombs and enjoy the city. This might enable another day in Ho Chi Minh City, because after arrival in the afternoon have we made brief stops at some of the highlights - most of them currently under construction, so that we didn't even go to Chinatown - and the War Remnant Museum, which only tells one side of the story. The 'second day' in Ho Chi Minh City is actually the excursion to the Mekong Delta. Don't really wanna talk about that day, because in order to distract the visitors from the dirty and filthy islands visited do you get the chance to take pictures of or even with some exotic animals by ignoring a species-appropriate husbandry - simply disgusting and this should be banned immediately. The flight to Cambodia is in the very early morning of the 'third day' or more correctly, that's when you normally leave Vietnam, because due to a technical defect of the plane did we end up spending all day at the airport. The flight with VietJet Air have been smooth and on time, but Cambodia Angkor Air seems to have massive problems with punctuality (and making up for it). Although having lost more than half a day in Cambodia caused by the flight delay were the guide (Paul) and driver in Angkor able to amend our program accordingly and offered some additional highlights for a reasonable price. A very pleasant ending to a sometimes unpleasant trip. I'm sure, that Cambodia has more to offer than Angkor and by ensuring that the visitors to the country follow some simple rules is the tourism more sustainable.Show more

Hello, I had a great time on the tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. All the hotels we stayed in were great and in a good location. I especially enjoyed the pick-up service when we would arrive at a new city. The only issue we had was on the day we were to take the bus from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh. We were not picked up from the hotel like we were told and despite, several emails from Melissa and Cathleen questioning our Vietnam visa, our visa was not correct which meant we were delayed and stuck in Phnom Penh.
