  • For the price I paid and all the things that were included it was more than worth it. I would definitely do this again and I am already planning my next trip with Contiki.

Two tours are available: Trafalgar Tours' Christmas Markets of Austria, Germany and Switzerland (8 days) and Insight Vacations' Alpine Christmas Markets (9 days), with multiple departure dates in November and December 2025.

    Is the same airport arrival and departure? Do you need to arrive the day on the trip or a day before? When the trip is over, what time is good to book the going back trip, the same day or the day after?

      Our preferred arrival and departure airport is at London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW). We require travellers to book pre accommodation in London Royal National Hotel to arrive prior trip departure date, as our tour will depart between 04:45am-06:45am on the first day. On the last day, Complimentary return transfer to London by ferry. Post-night accommodation will be required as arrival at London hotel will be at about 18:30.

      No exceptions? I did a tour recently also up to 35. Surprisingly I was able to do all the adventures, for example the 5 hours hike I was never behind. Everyone thought I was in my 20s until I told them. I do work out 5 days a week and hike a lot.

    Wondering if I can modify my itinerary for the Europe Quest. Can I meet the tour in Paris instead of London, and can I skip parts of Italy I'll have already done and meet the tour again a week later?

    I am 68, would I be able to go on this tour?

      Contiki is a youth travel company that has an age limit of 18-35 only. Not to worry though- Contiki has a few sister companies, such as Costsaver and Trafalgar, that do not have that kind of an age restriction, and whos customers average around 55+ years of age. These sister companies have similar itineraries to Contiki and work with Tour Radar.

    I am interested in this tour. I will be travelling with my wife and want a private room. Are all the rooms shared in this tour or is there an option for a private room? if so, will there be an additional charge for this

      The European Quest trip is only available in multi-share rooms with accommodate up to 6 Contiki travelers of the same gender. Therefore, you and your wife would not be able to book a private room for this trip. However, we do offer the European Wanderer trip in a twin room which has a very similar itinerary to the European Quest trip and would allow you and your wife to be in a private room. We also have an available departure for this trip on 24-May-2022.

      This is an amazing tour of England with some amazing highlights such as enjoying one of the best inner-city beaches of Europe in San Sebastian, checking out the check out the 1992 Olympic Games complex in Barcelona and being amazed at the natural beauty of Sorrento.
