Itinerary
- Day 1
Munich
You'll arrive in Munich and check into your hotel, then meet your tour guide for an orientation walk through the city's main attractions. This evening, head to a historic Bavarian restaurant with your group for traditional German dinner, which is a good chance to get to know your tour leader and the other travelers.

- Day 2
Munich to Prague
Travel from Munich toward Prague, stopping in Nuremberg for an orientation tour of Bavaria's second-largest city. After that, you'll continue to Prague where a guided tour takes you through the cobbled streets. By evening, settle in at a local restaurant for traditional Czech food.

- Day 3
Prague
This morning you have the whole day free to explore Prague however you'd like. Wander the old streets on your own, or if you're interested, there's an optional prague+ excursion that takes you through Prague Castle, then into the Mala Strana neighbourhood where you can see the Secret Garden grotto and some of the historic churches scattered around. The John Lennon Wall is part of that tour too if you decide to go. By evening, you'll join an included traditional Czech music, dance and food experience, so come back with an appetite. It's a nice mix of independence and cultural activities all in one day.

- Day 4
Prague to Krakow
Leave Prague early for Krakow, with a guided stop at Auschwitz concentration camp along the way, an important and reflective part of the journey. From there, continue to Krakow, Poland's royal capital, check into your hotel, and have dinner included this evening.

- Day 5
Krakow
Start with a guided walking tour covering Krakow's top sights and their history. After the tour, the rest of your day is open. If you're interested, an optional excursion to Wieliczka Salt Mine lets you go underground to see chapels and sculptures carved from salt.

- Day 7
Budapest
You have free time to explore Budapest. See WWII remnants and 1956 uprising sites, or visit St. Stephen's Basilica and the Central Market if architecture interests you. Optional tours include a Budapest+ guided experience or the Budapest Baths for thermal waters. Later, you can optionally join a Danube River cruise.

- Day 8
Bratislava - Vienna
You'll start by heading from Bratislava to Vienna, but first you'll stop to walk around Slovakia's capital. Bratislava Castle sits up on a hill overlooking the city, so that's worth seeing if you have time during the stop. After that, you'll continue on to Vienna for a driving tour where you'll see cultural and historical landmarks mixed in with modern architecture throughout the city. Dinner is included, so you won't need to figure out where to eat. If you're interested in classical music, there's an optional concert at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery in the evening. It's a historic venue where Mozart actually performed, so it has some real connection to music history.

Vienna to Ljubljana
Leave Vienna for Ljubljana, stopping in Graz, Austria for an orientation tour. After arriving in Ljubljana, an orientation tour shows you the city's highlights including Ljubljana Castle. This evening you can wander the walkable city on your own or join an optional excursion to experience local Slovenian cuisine and culture.

Travel back toward Munich with a stop at Lake Bled for photos and the chance to try famous Bled Cream Cake, then explore Salzburg with its storybook architecture, cliff-top fortress, and mountain scenery. You'll reach Munich by evening with time to explore on your own, or optionally join a final group dinner.
