On the first day we arrived in Egypt, the tour guide Walid drove a small car to pick us up. Together with the driver...
On the first day we arrived in Egypt, the tour guide Walid drove a small car to pick us up. Together with the driver , we 5 people squeezed into a small car, which was very uncomfortable. Because there is no dinner first night in the itinerary ,we went to the hotel restaurant, 3 people totaling 750 Egyptian Pd. After dinner, the restaurant refunded the money and told us that tour guide said we need pay him. Next day Walid charge us $75 for the last night dinner,which is equal to 1,374 Egyptian Pd. He overcharged us by 624 Egyptian Pd. He came at 9 o'clock am, still was the same small car. Because of the late departure, we did not have enough time to visit pyramids. Walid said you only have one hour to visit the pyramids, so it is better to ride camel. I think Walid and camel guy are together to make money. They look like forced us to ride the camel. After we paid the money and tip for camel ride , the camel guy still want more money, like a robbery. We also did'nt visit sphinx. Then Walid took us to stores to buy something, but we are not interested. The tour guide in Luxor and Aswan is Mr. Mohamed Ali. The guide and tour was extremely good. We had an amazing days with Mohamed. He is keen to make the tour is organized. He is very punctual. We didn't miss anything during the tour program. He is an excellent guide, has rich knowledge about the Egypt history. He always took care of our needs and made us very comfortable throughout the trip. Before the end of the trip, he was afraid that we would not receive the covid test report, he personally went to the clinic to get the covid test report for us. Many thanks again and I recommend Mohamed Ali to everyone.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 26th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 26th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Ancient Egypt Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Ancient Egypt Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
