  We did the 9 day tour through Morocco starting October 16 and we really enjoyed it. Our driver Ismail who was very helpful in ensuring we reached all of our destinations on time. Driving in Moroccan cities can be a white knuckle experience with the donkey carts and motorcycles but this young man was very competent, always calm, and made our trip a lot of fun. All of our accommodations were clean, quiet and very comfortable. The Riad and guesthouse staff were kind and professional. The walking tour guides were helpful in Fez and Marrakesh because with all the little alleys it is very very easy to get lost (and we did!) Bring extra cash for tips and make sure you have some toilet paper with you at all times. It would have been helpful to have a more detailed itinerary but with the earthquake I suspect there were many last minute changes. Overall we loved our trip to the land of many colours and flavours.Show more

  I traveled to Morocco in Sep with my husband and our 11 and 8 year old sons. Megan designed a 09 day itinerary and Aissa was our driver. He went to pick us up at our hotel in Casablanca and since day one he did an excellent job. We visited several cities like Rabat, Fes, Sahara Desert, Marrakesh, etc. We specially enjoyed our time in the medina in Fes and the experience in the Sahara Desert. At the beginning I was a little bit afraid because we were traveling with a 8year old kid but then we realized that people in Morocco like kids and having a private driver helped a lot. Aissa was extremely helpful in everything including babysitting for us... hahahaha. I can say without a doubt the Marrakech dream trips won the lottery when they hired Aissa. He is the best asset a company can have. My kids got to love him and when we arrived they told me that they missed him so much. He is a friend now.Show more

  I wanted to see the Sahara, and particularly the red dunes, for a long time. This tour 9 days seemed like the perfect way to do so. It is an incredible value. The desert was as beautiful as I hoped and every part of the trip was well planned and organized. Special thanks to my guide who was Karim. He was great. The food was tasty and the stops along the trip were interesting and well-timed. I booked the trip very spontaneous and wasn't expecting much, as I haven't done much research. Our driver Karim was very kind and made the whole experience so much better. Ali is very accommodating and always looked out for our wellbeing and happiness. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an affordable, completely organized trip into the Sahara. It felt safe the entire time, and was a truly good value. Bring money for lunches, tips, and souvenirs.Show more

  I took a group of 17 family members which included myself. We thought this was a fully guided tour but it was mostly a self guided tour. We were in a vehicle that fit 17 people which included me sitting in the front with the driver, making it a little too cramp for everyone. The driver did not speak the language, therefore, we didn't get any explanations of what were were seeing or exploring. I asked and paid for a private tour but the two tour guides were in another vehicle with two more people that went everywhere with us, which was very awkward because you could see that they did not want to be a part of our group. We had a few local tour guides included in the price but we had to pay entrance fees to most of the places we wanted to see. We stood in 5 lodgings which included riads and bed and breakfasts that looked more like hostels, they were definitely a 2 star value. We also stood in a tent in the sahara desert that was nice because we had originally paid extra for an upgrade. One of the riads lights went out in some rooms for the 2 nights we were there, therefore, leaving the guests having to double up on rooms with no privacy. They originally stated that none of the places that we were going to visit were affected by the earthquake but when we got there, they told us they were, and we were not able to go to those places. I mostly used Google to explain to my family what things were and asked the local tour guides. Thank God my family makes the best out of every situation but I felt bad because I am the one that chose this tour. The tour guides tried to be accomodating but in the end I think they need to rethink their choices in lodging and transportation.Show more
