About me:'m Rasha, a passionate licensed tour guide with years of experience in the field, who love to show the beauty of her country to visitors from around the world. I am a pretty flexible person who loves to adjust the tour according to my clients' needs. I have also worked with different travel agencies, but here with your help and support, I definitely have the power to personally show how much I love what I do, away from how most travel companies usually perform their tours. You can say that I choose to do tours as I see them, of course, taking in mind all the major sightseeing spots, but also with an addition of my taste to the experience of " live like a local", in order not only to add knowledge, but also joy to my clients.

Do check your schedule carefully and prepare for quite a lot of ‘dead time’ on board. There was confusion over when the tour finished and I ended up taking taxi from Edfu own cost to ensure more time in Luxor. The guides were fine

Hotels good, tour pick-up on time. Then often stress and time limit for the guided tours

But this is not for age up to age 99; should be 65.

It was a private tour we had a driver and a tour guide with us on both days. The guide also took us photos. I highly recommend Ancient Egypt Tours. It was stressless for us. The guide took care to buy tickets for museum and sites.

The first hotel was not good but on speaking with our guide Dina she organised a new hotel for the rest of our stay. The tours were great and very informative our first guide Dina was amazing she was a wealth of knowledge and understood what we wanted to get out of the tours she kept in constant contact making everything run smoothly. Our second guide in Luxor was again very knowledgeable but we found him a little harder to relax with. Whilst he kept us educated he seemed a little annoyed that we did not want to do ‘extra’ tours such as hot air balloons and kept trying to push various tours that we didn’t want to do so sometimes things became a little uncomfortable. The tours in Luxor could have all been done in one day which we did not realise until we finished the first day at 12pm but luckily our hotel in Luxor was lovely and had a good outside pool with a lovely view of the Nile. Back in Cairo we met a third guide (I cannot remember his name) this wasn’t a private tour as originally planned due to sickness but that cannot be foreseen so we were happy to share the tour. The gentleman again was very knowledgable about the churches and mosques we saw but his strong views on women and their place in society made it a difficult experience. We did the dinner on the Nile for the last night and whilst it was a nice evening it was neither deluxe or good value infact we discovered we paid $10 per person more than the other tourist in our party. Overall it was a good tour it could have been reduced down with both the Luxor tours on the same day but we still had an enjoyable time. Sadly we didn’t get to see Dina on our return which was a shame especially as we have been unable to give her her tip which she so deserved. We are looking to return in the future and would like to go to Alexandria and also the Nile cruise to Aswan so we will keep Tourradar in mind.

There are long drives, sometimes for hours in traffic jams in Cairo, where the air is bad and the traffic is terrible. Our "four nights" in the desert turned into just one (we were told it was impossible because of the weather, but all those days were good weather). Instead of the desert nights, we stayed in three third-class hotels (cracked walls, one in the middle of a noisy town, the muezzin twice in the immediate vicinity). The guides on the desert tour are reliable and do a good job. But they speak very little English; and you don't even have to ask questions about the origin, vegetation or animals; they don't understand them and perhaps wouldn't know the answer either...The Niel cruise was a disappointment. We checked in at midday on an old cruise ship that was moored between four others and stayed there for more than 26 hours. Then the next day we finally left at four instead of two, so we only had two hours of daylight to enjoy what must have been a beautiful cruise. When you arrived at a sight, thousands of tourists ran through the ruins of the temples, real mass tourism! The nights on the ship are terrible; you always have at least 40 decibels of noise from the generators! We were looking forward to sailing in Aswan. Don't look forward to it! It's two quarter-hour trips to an island where they've moved a temple that would otherwise be under water (after the Aswan dam was built). We had the best vacation in Sham el Sheikh. Everything was great there. But you don't have to book the 20-day tour for that. What we almost couldn't bear until the end were the countless people who wanted to sell us something, carry suitcases for money, beg and even try to rip us off...
