Prague

- Day 3
Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
You'll head out early toward Germany, stopping first in Pilsen to see the Old Town Square, cathedral, and Plague Column. From there, follow the Romantic Road into the fairy-tale village of Rothenburg, which is worth a proper look around. Later you'll arrive in Frankfurt with the evening free to explore the historic center and find somewhere for dinner.

Frankfurt - Rüdesheim - St. Goar - Cologne - Amsterdam
Start with a scenic Rhine cruise between Rüdesheim and St. Goar, which is the most dramatic stretch of the river. Then head to Cologne to see the massive Gothic cathedral before continuing on to Amsterdam, arriving by evening.

- Day 5
Amsterdam
Begin at Zaanse Schans to see the windmills and canals, then drive to the fishing village of Volendam. In the afternoon, you'll do a guided tour of Amsterdam covering windmills, the Rembrandt statue, the South District, and a diamond cutting museum. Take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière for views across the city, then you'll have free time to explore.

Stop in Neuchâtel for a walk by the lake or to check out the historic town and 10th-century castle. You'll arrive in Zurich by late afternoon.

Zurich
Your guide shows you around Zurich, Switzerland's largest city and its financial and cultural center. Take a nearly two-hour scenic cruise on Lake Zurich with short stops at small villages along the way. You'll get off in Rapperswil, a village with a medieval castle, then take the train back to Zurich.

Later, continue to Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities, to explore before returning to Zurich.

Leave early and cross the Alps into the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Stop in Bellinzona to see three medieval castles listed as UNESCO sites, sitting on the hills around town, and walk through the center. Move into Italy and stop in Como for lunch, where you'll see lakeside gardens and a beautiful cathedral. Continue to Milan and see Piazza del Duomo with your guide, then free time to wander before your hotel.

A three-hour guided tour combines walking through Imperial Rome and a panoramic bus section. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the outside of the Colosseum, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour ends near Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. In the evening, head to Trastevere for dinner and return to your hotel around 8:30 p.m.
