Paris
You'll arrive in Paris and get transferred to your hotel. Settle in and check the information board at reception for tour details.

Paris

Paris

Travel through Burgundy's vineyards to Beaune, a town with flower-filled streets, a historic hospice, and a wine museum. Grab lunch and wander around, then continue to Lyon. Take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière for city views and explore at your own pace.

Head to Switzerland passing Geneva's Palace of Nations, English Garden with its flower clock, and the Jet d'Eau fountain. Have time for lunch in Geneva. Continue along Lake Geneva through vineyards to Lausanne to see the Olympic Park. Stop in Gruyères for the Cailler Chocolate Factory with a tasting included. End your day in Fribourg, a bilingual French-German city.

Travel through scenic Bern canton with photo stops in hills and forests. See Interlaken between two lakes and explore the Aare Gorge ravines with lunch included. Ascend the Susten Pass with its eternal snow and glaciers. Pass through the Gotthard Tunnel and stop in Gandria before taking a boat to Lugano, arriving in Chiasso by late afternoon.

Have free time for lunch, then head to Lucerne to walk the Kapellbrücke, see the Lion Monument, cathedral, Jesuit Church, and the old town.

Follow Lake of the Four Cantons shores toward Einsiedeln, home to Switzerland's important baroque abbey. Visit Heididorf to see Heidi's House with landscape views (admission separate). Enter Liechtenstein and explore Vaduz beneath its castle with time for lunch. End in Feldkirch, Austria, a walled city with a medieval quarter and castle.

Have time for lunch, then visit Stein am Rhein with painted houses on the Rhine. See the Rhine Falls with an optional boat ride available. Arrive in Zurich by evening.
