Itinerary
- Day 1
London to Amsterdam
Your Contiki group comes together in London before heading out on the road to Amsterdam. Along the way you'll stop to check out the White Cliffs of Dover on the English coast, then take a ferry across the channel to Calais. After driving through Belgium, you'll arrive in Amsterdam for your first night. There's a group dinner included, and after that you're free to check out the city's bars and nightlife however you want.

Amsterdam
This afternoon you can explore Amsterdam at your own pace. Bar hop around the city, walk through some museums, or try local food like pancakes, frites and stroopwafels. If you're interested, there's an optional visit to a local cheese farm for dinner. For the evening, you can sign up for a canal cruise through Amsterdam's waterways with an onboard bar.

- Day 3
Amsterdam to Rhine Valley, Germany
Leave Amsterdam and head toward Germany today. You'll stop in Cologne for lunch, then continue through countryside with fairy tale castles, vineyards and valleys. By evening you'll arrive in the Rhine Valley wine region where you'll have a wine tasting experience.

- Day 4
Rhine Valley to Munich via Dinkelsbühl
On your way from the Rhine Valley to Munich, you'll explore a charming Bavarian medieval town with cobblestoned streets, market squares and half-timbered buildings. You'll see the famous Glockenspiel and get a feel for traditional Bavarian culture. An optional walking tour is available in the afternoon if you want to learn more about the town's history. Later, head to one of the city's famous beer halls for traditional Bavarian food and atmosphere.

Landmarks Dinkelsbühl - Day 5
Munich to Venice via Innsbruck and Trento
This morning you'll leave Munich and travel through the Bavarian Alps by coach, passing castles and vineyards as you head into Austria. Stop in Innsbruck for lunch where you can walk around this medieval old town and see the Olympic Ski Jump and Royal Palace. After that, continue to Trento in the Adige Valley, then cross into Italy and arrive in Venice. You'll have the evening to settle in before exploring tomorrow.

Venice
Spend your full day in Venice on the water. Start by boarding a private motoscafo and cruise the canals to the historical center of the city. From there, you can choose what interests you most: take a traditional gondola ride, learn how to steer a gondola from expert instructors, or go on a guided food tour to discover Venice's local food scene.

Landmarks Venice - Day 7
Venice to Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland
Leave Venice and travel north toward Switzerland. Your coach will pass Lake Como as you drive into the Swiss Alps. You'll arrive in the Lauterbrunnen valley where you'll head to your hostel. A warm home-cooked dinner is included, and after that you can relax and rest after your travels.

Lauterbrunnen/Interlaken to Paris
This morning your coach crosses the border from Switzerland back into France. You'll pass through Burgundy, the wine-producing region, on your way to Paris. By evening you'll take a night-time tour of the city, seeing lamp-lit bridges, the sparkling Eiffel Tower and evening coffee spots as you start to fall in love with Paris.

Paris
Your last full day in Paris starts with a visit to the Fragonard perfumery where you'll learn about fragrance. After that, the day is yours to wander the tree-lined neighborhoods, see Notre-Dame Cathedral, walk through the Louvre galleries, or check out other attractions. This is your final night with the group, so there's an optional Parisian dinner followed by a cabaret show if you want to make it count.
