Hello: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful landscapes of Peru and Bolivia, the Vistadome train, the local cuisine, your experience in Bolivia, and Alex's guiding in the Sacred Valley. We would also like to clarify a few points for future travelers. Regarding the tour price, the complete itinerary, inclusions, and total cost were available before your booking. After reviewing all the details, you chose to confirm the trip, so we were surprised to read that you felt it was overpriced afterward. Concerning the domestic flights, we normally recommend that clients book their own flights because they can often find the best fares directly with the airlines. At your request, however, we agreed to purchase the flights on your behalf as a courtesy. Before issuing the tickets, we sent you the flight prices, and we proceeded only after receiving your approval and payment. We provided your flight details, booking references, and boarding information before each departure, which is a common and reliable process used by many airlines. Regarding the tour operation, your itinerary included shared/group tours in Peru and Bolivia, but as a courtesy and for a much better experience, we provided special private services in Bolivia. As described in the program, different professional local good guides and drivers are assigned depending on the destination and activity. This allows travelers to benefit from guides who specialize in each region. All the tours, transfers, hotels, and services included in your itinerary were provided as booked. We are sorry that our communication did not meet your expectations. Throughout the planning process and during your trip, our reservations team answered your many questions, resent documents and confirmations whenever requested, and also assisted by printing additional documents for your visa, even though visa documentation is normally the traveler's responsibility. We were happy to provide this extra assistance because we wanted your trip to go as smoothly as possible. Regarding the hotel location in Cusco (7 minutes walking from the main square), we selected it for its comfort, quality, and quiet atmosphere. We are sorry that the easy uphill walk was inconvenient. Our comments about Rainbow Mountain were made solely out of concern for your comfort and safety due to the high altitude, never because of your age. Our goal has always been to provide honest information, reliable service, and support before and during every journey. While we regret that some aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations, we appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve our communication. We sincerely thank you for traveling with Peru & Bolivia Trek 4 Good and wish you many wonderful adventures in the future. Kind regards, Peru & Bolivia Trek 4 Good

I am very interested in booking your tour. I will be traveling alone and can change the start date to join other groups to make it easier. I would like a solo room. I also was wondering about the flights during the trip. Is this something we need to book ourselves or can your company do that to make it easier?

I'm worried about the 11,000 feet and how much walking we will have to do. We are in ok shape for 60 year olds - we live at 1000 ft all and can walk 2 to 4 miles on level ground without a problem - but 11,000 feet? Wow - are those added hikes really 2 hours?

Before arriving in Cusco you can take pills, that will help you to adjust to the altitude. There is not much walking in the tours and if you are 5 people, we recommend taking a private trip. Which added hikes are you talking about?

I'm looking to book a trip for myself and my Dad to both go to Peru into Bolivia. He's 68 and quite fit but he's worried about how much exercise there will be at high altitude. I was also wondering if there was any way that you could say if there were any other people booked on these trips starting on the 8th or 9th of July and what age they are.

During the trip there are some walks that you do for visiting different sites, nothing very hard and if it would be difficult for him; he can take it easy and visit easier areas, the guides will help him. We do not have any other people for the same trip starting on the 8th or 9th July, but we do have some other tourists (25 – 50 years) for the different tours in Cusco and Puno areas. Please note that July is the high season and you should book asap, there are not many good tickets for visiting Machupicchu.
