Vienna
You'll arrive in Vienna and meet up with your travel group to get settled. Start with coffee and sachertorte at a local spot, then head to dinner where you and the others can get to know each other. Some folks might stick around for schnapps after.

- Day 2
Vienna to Krakow
The group travels from Vienna into Poland and stops at Auschwitz and Birkenau to visit the concentration camp memorials. This is a solemn part of the trip reflecting on WWII history. After that, you'll continue on to Krakow, where you'll find a beautiful old town and the creative Kazimierz district waiting to explore.

Krakow
Start with an orientation tour that shows you Krakow's best beer spots and historical sites. Later, you'll have free time to walk around the UNESCO World Heritage old town on your own terms. Check out the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Castle, and various museums. By evening, grab dinner and try traditional Polish pierogi dumplings.

Krakow to Budapest
Head south from Krakow through alpine scenery and small traditional villages. You'll stop for lunch in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, then continue into Hungary. By evening you'll arrive in Budapest and have time to settle in. There's an optional river cruise and dinner available if you're interested.

- Day 5
Budapest
This day is yours to spend however you'd like in Budapest. Relax in one of the city's famous thermal baths if that appeals to you, or head to Margaret Island and wander around its gardens, fountains, pools, and ruins. The city's yours to explore at your own pace.

Landmarks Margaret Island - Day 6
Budapest to Ljubljana via Lake Bled
Leave Budapest and head south toward Slovenia. Stop at Lake Bled for a swim or photos, then continue on to Ljubljana. You'll arrive in the evening and have a city tour, after which you can relax in local cafes and soak up the laid-back vibe the city's known for.
