Itinerary
- Day 1
Atlanta
You'll arrive in Atlanta and meet your group leader at 6 pm. This is when you'll connect with your fellow travelers and get oriented to the trip. Your leader can point you toward good dinner spots in the area, so you're not wandering around looking for food after traveling.

- Visit Atlanta History Center (33 acres of historic houses, gardens and award-winning exhibitions)

Atlanta to Savannah
Head out early toward Savannah and meet up with a guide when you get there. You'll walk through Bonaventure Cemetery and see the antebellum mansions and moss-draped oaks that define the city. The colonial architecture is everywhere you look. By evening, you can join a ghost tour if that interests you, or just check out one of the bars in town.

- Day 3
Savannah
Take the morning relaxed before joining the food tour at 11 am. Over three hours, you'll hit spots like a traditional British pie shop and an award-winning honey store while learning Savannah's history. You'll try dishes connected to the city's earliest settlers too. After lunch wraps up, the afternoon is yours to wander around however you like.

- Day 4
Savannah to Charleston
Drive to Charleston this morning and grab lunch after you arrive. Then you'll join a guide for a Black History tour that covers important landmarks around the city and tells the complex stories behind them. Walking and some driving are part of it. The rest of the afternoon is free, so you can explore the streets on your own.

- Day 5
Charleston to Asheville
Spend your morning in Charleston's historic district or head out to Fort Sumter National Monument if you prefer. After that, you'll drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains to Asheville. Once you arrive, your leader takes you on a walking tour of downtown, showing you galleries and artist studios. Your leader can also recommend some local brew houses for dinner.

Asheville
Take it easy in the morning, then head to the Biltmore House and Garden. This is the largest home in America, and the Gilded Age mansion is worth the time. You can grab lunch and wine at the on-site winery, or just tour the building. The afternoon lets you either keep exploring the grounds or head back to town. There's also an optional group dinner if you want to join.

Asheville to Nashville
Leave Asheville and drive toward Nashville, stopping at a local whiskey distillery along the way. You'll tour the facility and taste some Tennessee whiskey, then have lunch with your group at a nearby restaurant. Continuing on, you'll do an orientation walk downtown with your leader once you reach Nashville. The evening is yours, so hunt down some real Nashville hot chicken if you're hungry.

Nashville
Your trip ends this morning after breakfast. If you want to stay longer in Nashville and explore more, talk to your booking agent about extending your stay. The city has plenty more to offer if you've got the time.
