Being that this tour ends in Montreal, Canada, you will have to arrange your own transportation back to Toronto, Canada or back to your home.

Which hotels would I stay in for departure May22, 2026? How many hotels? Also do your buses come with bathrooms and AC?

There are approximately 4 hotels used during this tour. Cosmos uses tourist class, superior tourist-class, and many first-class hotels, located both centrally and in residential areas. The hotels are confirmed within 30 days of travel as they are subject to change. Yes, there is air conditioning on the motorcoach. Emergency washroom are available on our touring coaches and are not meant to be used regularly in lieu of the restrooms at frequent comfort stops approximately every 2 to 2½ hours.

My husband and I would like to stay at Niagra Falls for 2 or 3 days but would really like to join your 8 day tour. How can we do this?

This tour you have enquired about does not include multiple nights in Niagara Falls. Instead there is a day excursion. Unfortunately, we are not able to extend to a few nights for this stay. You may need to visit Niagara Falls for a few nights before or after the tour.

I am interested in the trip to Canada. My sister is vegan. Do the areas we stop at have restaurants with vegan options or vegan restaurants.

We understand that people have certain needs and preferences when it comes to their meals and our guests should have a choice of items for each included meal. While some hotels and restaurants may be able to accommodate a special diet, there is no way for us to guarantee this. Please be advised that the guest will need to work directly with the hotel manager, maître d', and restaurant staff while traveling to ensure their dietary needs are met.

Is the C$128 gratuity covering all 8 days of the tour?

The prepaid gratuities will cover the duration of the tour. This will be $128 CAD per person. The gratuities will cover the Tour Director and the Driver, all others will have to be paid directly.

Could you confirm if the $626 for GST/HST includes any additional charges for tips? Also, could you let us know how many meals are included?

The HST/GST Taxes do not include the gratuities. You are able to add the pre-paid gratuities for an additional $128 CAD per person. There are no included meals but each hotel does have an on-site restaurant.

You are welcome to join the tour late however, there will be no compensation for any missed portions of the trip so you will still need to pay full price for the tour.

This was an "8-day" tour starting in Toronto and ending in Montreal. As a New Zealand author of novels and short stories, I have travelled widely (about 23 countries). This is my fifth coach tour, the others being through Europe with Trafalgar and Expat Explore. In comparison, the hotels used by Cosmos were superior and all but one were located near shops, supermarkets and attractions. On the second day, the tour kicked off with a hiss and a roar as we travelled to Niagara Falls and for me, the highlight was being on a large boat at the bottom of the falls. Old Quebec City was another highlight together with its interesting history involving the French and English. Our tour leader, Nadine, did an excellent job giving the history and attending to our needs. The coach driver, Dave, was also very friendly and helpful. My wife and I took advantage of two optional excursions: A traditional sugar-shack Dinner, and Quebec countryside dinner and Montmorency Falls. I would recommend the latter. This was a great trip and we loved all the cities we visited. James was brilliant and super organised. The overnight train to Halifax was a great experience and so glad we did it. However, we felt the journey took too long, but that was due to train delays. We felt that when we arrived in Halifax, 4 hours late and tired, Carol did not seem to be organised at all. She did not order enough taxis to get 11 people and 10 peoples cases to the hotel. Consequently she didn't realise that 3 ladies had been left behind and had to get their own taxi and was surprised when she was given a receipt for reimbursement for the taxi cost.Show more
