Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll get transferred from Cairo airport to your hotel after landing. The afternoon and evening are open, so you can settle in and rest. If you're arriving early enough, there's an optional walking tour through Cairo's backstreets that departs at 10am. You might also consider adding a day trip to Alexandria if you want to extend your time here.

Giza and Saqqara
Head out early for a guided tour of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You'll walk through the three main pyramids, Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, then travel to Saqqara to see the tombs and temples there, including Zhoser's step pyramid. Later you'll stop at a government-supervised Papyrus Museum before wrapping up for the day.

Cairo to Aswan
You'll spend the morning and early afternoon at the Grand Egyptian Museum, which covers 490,000 square meters and holds over 100,000 artifacts. The collection includes King Tutankhamun's complete treasures with his golden funerary mask, chariot, and jewelry, so plan to spend several hours there. After lunch and some time to relax back at your hotel, you'll head to the station this evening to board the night train heading to Aswan.

Aswan
You'll arrive in Aswan mid-morning and take a short boat trip to Agilika Island to visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. After returning to Aswan, you'll stop at a perfume oil emporium, then check in to your 5-star Nile cruiser for the next three nights. The rest of the afternoon is yours, so you can explore the colorful souks and markets or just relax by the river.

Nile Cruise - Kom Ombo
Early risers can join an optional excursion to the Temple of Abu Simbel to see the four colossal statues of Ramses II carved into the rock. Later in the afternoon, relax on the cruiser as it heads toward Kom Ombo. When you arrive, you'll disembark to visit the temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-headed god, then return to the ship for the night.

Luxor
Spend the morning on the top deck relaxing or taking a swim in the pool as the cruiser moves along the Nile toward Luxor. You'll arrive in the afternoon and check in, with the rest of the day free to explore this ancient city, home to the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Karnak. This is your last night aboard the cruiser.

Luxor
Disembark this morning and check into your 5-star hotel in Luxor. The day is free to explore the city at your own pace, with its legendary Valley of the Kings and Temple of Karnak waiting to be discovered. There's an optional visit to the Temple of Luxor available this evening if you're interested.

Luxor
Explore the West Bank of the Nile and the Valley of the Kings this morning. You'll see the Colossi of Memnon, the massive stone remains of Amenophis III's temple, then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and nearby tombs. After lunch, head to the Temple of Karnak, a massive religious complex where you can walk around the impressive stone papyrus columns. The evening is free to unwind.

Luxor to Hurghada
Leave Luxor this morning and drive east to Hurghada on the Red Sea Riviera. You'll have the next three days here to relax on the beach and enjoy the resort atmosphere.

- Days 10 - 11
Hurghada
You have two full days to spend as you like in Hurghada. Relax on the beaches or take optional day trips like visiting Giftun Island for swimming and snorkeling, which you can book locally. The resort offers sailing, yachting, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling facilities. There are plenty of restaurants and bars for evenings out. If you're interested in something different, you can visit the ancient Roman quarry Mons Porphyritis just outside town or try windsurfing at the windy Port Safarga.
