Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek
You'll get picked up from Windhoek airport and transferred to your hotel. After that, the day is completely yours to settle in. Some people like to rest and get over the flight, while others head into town to get a feel for Namibia's capital. It's a good chance to grab dinner somewhere local or just take it easy before the adventure starts.

- Day 2
Windhoek to Etosha National Park
The group meets early in Windhoek, then you're heading into the wilds. You'll stop in Otjiwarongo to pick up supplies before driving into Etosha National Park. The drive through takes you past lions, elephants, giraffes, and hundreds of bird species. Your lodge sits right within the park, so by evening you're watching the floodlit Halali waterhole where elephants and rare black rhinos come to drink as the sun goes down.

- Day 3
Etosha National Park
This is a full day in Etosha. You'll start before sunrise for a game drive when leopards and other cats are still out from hunting. Back at camp for breakfast, then you're out again searching the waterholes where animals gather. The massive Etosha Pan spreads out across 4,500 square kilometers of white salt flat, so big you can see it from space. By evening you're back at your accommodation on the park's edge.

Etosha to Swakopmund
You'll start early and head south from Etosha, driving through Damaraland's dramatic terrain and passing through Outjo. The landscape here is really something to see, and you'll have chances to stop at roadside markets where local artisans from the Himba, Herero, and Damara communities sell their work. After grabbing lunch near Brandberg mountain, the route continues west toward the Skeleton Coast, where you'll encounter those desolate beaches with scattered shipwrecks along the shore. By evening, you'll be in Swakopmund and have the rest of the night to yourself.

- Day 5
Swakopmund to Sesriem
Swakopmund morning is relaxed with an 11:30 departure, so you can sleep in or wander around town. Heading east, you cross Kuiseb Pass with steep canyon views carved over time by the Kuiseb River, then the Gaub River canyon. A quick photo stop at the Tropic of Capricorn signpost, then into the Namib Desert through tiny Solitaire with its famous rusted vehicles. Your desert camp has a pool to cool off and a bar for drinks.

- Day 6
Sossusvlei & Deadvlei
This one requires an early alarm because you need to be at the dunes when the sun comes up and paints everything in deep orange and red colors. Once you've had a quick breakfast, the park opens and you'll drive 60 km into the dune fields before switching to a 4x4 shuttle for the final 5 km through the Tsauchab River bed to reach Sossusvlei. From there, you'll check out Deadvlei with those ancient skeletal trees, and if you're feeling up to it, climb Dune 45 for the views. On the way back, stop at Sesriem Canyon, and you should be back at your accommodation by late afternoon.

Sesriem to Windhoek
Leaving the desert behind, you stop in Solitaire for a slice of their famous apple pie. The drive back to Windhoek takes you through BuellsPort and Rehoboth with stops along the way. You arrive in the capital with the evening free to explore or rest before heading out.

Windhoek
