Can you let me know how many people are booked on the tours starting 8th and 10th June. Also the male/female ratio on each tour currently and age ranges please. Do you have to share the rooms as I am travelling alone?

We do not know exactly how many seats are left however, we only know the capacity of each date which would be 25 passengers. These passenger's are a mix of male and female ranging between the ages of 50 to 70. If you are travelling solo, you will have your own private room to yourself in this case.

Is this possible to join a trip to Manuel Antonio from the Polenta Leone Hotel tomorrow?

This would not be possible as the earliest tour start we have would be on May 14th in San Jose. We do apologize, but we would need some time to coordinate your travel and 24 hours would not be enough time.

How can I confirm our pick-up from the airport?

You will receive detailed instructions via email regarding your pick-up upon your arrival.

All of the dates of start and end of the trips don't match the dates on the wing buddy site. Some dates are one day before and some one day after. If I arrive April 13, the wing buddy site says it starts on April. Please confirm.

The dates posted on the Wingbuddy website are with the flights included therefore, this is why you may be seeing a discrepancy. If you are interested in booking the April 13th tour, you must make sure to book your flights to arrive in San Jose on April 13th and return on April 23rd.

How can I check for additional nights after the tour ends?

Post-tour accommodation can be booked based on availability at the designated hotel.

Can I share on this trip if not possible what is the single supplement cost added to tour cost in $AUS

We do book many solo travelers for all of our packages however, we do no offer the option to pair you up with a solo traveler. In this case, you can select your preferred departure date and change the number of passengers from 2 to 1 and you will receive an updated quote in single occupancy on this page.

Is there a way maybe I could try to find another flight to land on the 15th and the tour starts on the 16th?

And to add insult to injury they have the wrong hotel address to the tour operator so we had to wait an hour and a half to be picked up after distressed WhatsApp messages with a tour guide. Jorge Loria Zuñiga was a phenomenal tour guide. He went above and beyond to make our trip an unforgettable time. He is incredible at spotting birds, snakes, lizards, sloths, monkeys, and on on with the rich biodiversity that Costa Rica offers. This is the perfect job for this man, the love for his country and what he does shines through everyday, gifting to his entire group the magic that is offered in the beautiful land. Fantastic restaurant recommendations and making you feel like family. We were quite please with wingbuddy, the hotel selections were great. Most of them were small, my husband and I didn't mind this as we were just sleeping in them, we were wanting to be outside and hike as much as possible. The extra excursions may be worth it to add on prior to getting there. All in all the tour was planned well with adequate time in each place. You see so much of the country with this tour. We were quite lucky to have a great group that we all got along well with eachother. Again Jorge with costa rica hidden treasures (wingbuddy Im assuming contracts through this tour company) was the heart of this trip going so splendidly.Show more

We booked a trip for 6 friends on a tour to Costa Rica. Unfortunately, there were complications from the beginning. 1. Our flight was cancelled and Wingbuddy refused to answer the calls because they stated they were busy rebooting other tours. It took 3 weeks to rebook the flight. 2. Our tour bus was too small for our group. Their solution was to put the luggage on the roof of the van while we drove 5 hours through the jungle in the rain. Then they decided that the luggage will be stacked in the aisles. So the emergency exits were all blocked by the luggage, and no one could exit the bus until each row's luggage was moved out of the aisle. This caused a 1h delay. 3. The bus driver did not know the route to either the restaurant, which we passed 3 times and had to turn around illegally multiple times, then did not know the route to the hotel and asked people on the street. This caused a 2h delay. Because of all this we were 3h late for the town and missed the excursion. 3. The next day, the bus driver couldnt be found. The tour guide has to find him 30 minutes later. The bus driver then took us to a coffee tour where he went to the wrong coffee tour. 4. For all this hassle, Wingbuddy offered compensation of one alcoholic beverage at dinner. I have been on multiple tours all over the world, and I would not recommend this company at all.Show more

We toured the Natural Wonders of Costa Rica this past July 2024. Our tour guide was Alan Rodriguez Nunez. Alan was an excellent guide. He is a walking encyclopedia, and everything he showed us included interesting facts, ie the type of birds he could identify just by sound and the local flora by its genus name. The tour itself was not too restrictive of a schedule as we were given ample time to choose where to eat for the dinners that were not included in the package. We were also able to shop for souvenirs at several shops. Alan always asked what we would like to do and checked that we were happy, he made sure we were never hungry asking when we would like lunch and dinner. Our bus driver, Raul was also excellent. Raul traversed the winding mountain roads with ease and it was comforting that he was at the wheel. Not having to worry about our itinerary and transportation was a great benefit of this vacation. Driving in Costa Rica is an adventure in itself. Since we had Alan and Raul to worry about the details of the tour, we were able to enjoy our vacation thoroughly and highly recommend this tour. In 10 days, we felt that we saw all the diverse regions of this country.Show more

The organization of the tours, the customer service, the accommodations, were all outstanding. We have not one bad thing to say. The first part of the tour to La Tortugaro and the Coffee/Cocoa Tour in the Arenal area were the two biggest highlights; but the whole thing, every day, every hour, was amazing!
