      We wanted to share an important update we have received from the operator regarding your upcoming river adventure on the AMADEUS Aurea.

      Due to a prolonged heatwave over the past few weeks, river water levels have been significantly affected. At the moment, this is particularly the case in the area of Pfelling, between Passau and Regensburg. Because of the current low water levels, this section of the river cannot be passed right now, even with the very shallow draft of the AMADEUS vessels.

      For this reason, tomorrow's embarkation will now take place in Straubing instead of Passau.

      Here are the key details for you:
      - New embarkation port: Straubing (instead of Passau)
      - Transfers provided: the operator has arranged complimentary transfers from the original embarkation point in Passau to Straubing.
      - Transfer times: Transfers will run from 2:00 p.m., with the last transfer departing at 5:00 p.m.

      The weather forecast is currently predicting rainfall, and we sincerely hope that the critical section of the river can be passed within the next two days. However, as these conditions are entirely dependent on nature, the operator unfortunately cannot guarantee this at this time. The captain will continue the passage as soon as conditions allow, with your safety and comfort as the top priorities.

      The operator understands that this unexpected situation may affect your travel plans. Should you decide not to proceed with your cruise, you may cancel your booking free of charge.

      In the meantime, the crew onboard will do everything possible to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable start to your cruise despite these unforeseen circumstances.
