What people love about 10-day Danube river cruises
- European Charm GO
The trip was incredible. All the stops we did were very interesting and well organized. The tour guides and the tour manager did an amazing job. All the countries but Netherlands were amazing. Netherlands was fine in the morning with the windmills but so busy in the city, crowded and crazy bike riders then make the experience not so great. I definitely will do another tour in the future.
- Danube Rhapsody (Passau - Passau, 13 destinations)
The crew was very kind and offered good service. The itinerary unfortunately changed because of the water level of the river. This changed days and times, unfortunately I missed meeting with a friend that lives in Salzburg in Linz. We had planned it ahead of time, she had made arrangements to go to Linz on the scheduled day which originally was going to be the last day but after the last minute changes became the first. I only found out when I arrived to board the ship. Instead we all hoy in a bus and after 2,5 hours found out what was going on. The one thing that Lueftner could improve is communication with passengers regarding changes and policies. The ship is very nice, it would be great to have hammocks on the top to enjoy the terrace.
- Danube Classics Vienna 2026
The cruise was good except for they would not let us off the ship at Krems and Melk. The brochure said we could enjoy the sights at those places, but we had to stay on the ship the whole day while the few people who paid for an excursion could get off. That represents false advertising on your advertisement. Very unhappy and I will let other people know on the ratings.
