Frankfurt
You'll arrive in Frankfurt and make your way to the cruise ship waiting on the Main River. After getting settled in your cabin, spend some time exploring the ship's decks and amenities before it pushes off at 10:30 PM. This gives you a chance to find your way around and maybe grab dinner onboard before departure.

- Day 2
Rüdesheim
The ship pulls into Rüdesheim at 5:00 AM, and you'll have the whole day to walk through this riverside town. The main draw is Drosselgasse, a 144-meter pedestrian street that's considered the heart of Rhine Romanticism with its half-timbered buildings and local character. You can wander past stately homes and old fortifications at your own pace, grab lunch at one of the local spots, and soak in the atmosphere before the ship departs at 8:00 PM.

- Day 3
Speyer
The ship pulls in at 07:00, which means you've got the full day in Speyer, a town that's been around for about 2,000 years. Head straight to the UNESCO World Heritage cathedral when things open up - it's one of Germany's most significant High Romanesque buildings and worth the time. After that, walk through the medieval town center, which is actually Germany's oldest planned medieval layout. You'll want to grab lunch somewhere in town before heading back to the ship around 19:30 for departure. Note that depending on availability, the port might be Germersheim instead, so check your final paperwork closer to your trip date.

The ship arrives in Breisach at 1:30 PM, perched dramatically on a clifftop overlooking the Rhine. Head up to Münster Sankt Stephan, the cathedral positioned high above town with its notable art collections. If you're interested in wine, there's an optional visit to Geldermann, a sparkling wine producer located here. Grab dinner onboard, and then the ship departs at 11:30 PM.

Basel
You arrive in Basel at 8:00 AM. Switzerland's oldest university is here, and the medieval old town has characteristic staircases and the Gate of Spalen worth seeing. The city has 27 museums if you want to dive deeper into art and history, or you can just wander the streets and check out the riverside areas. Since the ship stays overnight, you can take your time and not rush back.

Basel to Strasbourg
The cruise departs Basel at 1:00 AM and you'll spend the morning relaxing on the water before arriving in Strasbourg at 3:00 PM. Once there, walk through the medieval streets lined with half-timbered houses and visit some of the elegant city palaces. If you want views across the city, climb up to the cathedral viewing platform. After exploring, head back to the ship before it leaves at 10:00 PM.

Mainz
You'll arrive in Mainz by noon, giving you a solid 11 hours to explore this historic German city with more than 2,000 years of history behind it. The place has this relaxed vibe that locals take real pride in, and there's plenty to find walking through the old streets. Spend the afternoon wandering around, soaking in the local culture and checking out what the city has to offer. Your ship departs at 11:00 PM, so you've got the whole day to get a feel for Mainz before heading back to board.
