I am travelling with my guy friends need private rooms, do not see that option in booking. We may also want to stay couple of nights longer, what are the prices?

Regarding private rooms, we have twin/double rooms offered on every date (with start dates nearly every day through October). And yes, it's possible to add any extra nights you'd like (just let us know).

What city am I flying into? Is there a transfer to and from the hotel? Is the hotel located in the city center? Is the hotel located near local transportation? Will transportation be provided to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco by you or do I have to find these places on my own? Is it possible to extend for one more night in the hotel after the tour ends? How can I request a single room if I go alone and what will be the cost? Do you have Uber transportation?

Nice, France is where the trip is based so that is the best airport to fly in/out of or train station. There is a tram that runs from the hotel to the center and takes around 15 minutes and costs just a few Euro. Otherwise services like Uber are available and affordable. We would send you all the detailed information on reaching the hotel after booking. The hotel is located in the historic and tourist center of Nice. Lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, attractions, etc. in the general area and everything in easy quick walking distance. Tours are included of Nice's old town, Monte Carlo-Monaco tour and transportation by train (about 20 minutes each way) and the scenic boat cruise along the Riviera coast. For Cannes (Antibes right next door) it is a free day and you can go when you want and we send you detailed information on how to do that. Extra nights - you can add any nights before or after the dates you select (as the standard trip is a 3 night trip). After booking you'd just request that. And yes, single room as well just request and let us know the dates so we can give you the price quote of that upgrade. Though in your request it mentions "2 adults" but if two separate single rooms that is also ok and we can provide that.

I want to take the tour starting on June 17. But I want to arrive on June 16. I need a room for single traveler for night of june 16.

The trip is bookable starting either on June 16th or 17th and accommodations start from that date. The tours/activities are always starting the next day. So if you book the package starting on the 16th, the first tours/activities will be on the next day the 17th.

Regarding your questions, will you be arriving to Nice by bus or train, or by flight? All the stops (or airport) are centrally located, or easily connected by public transportation. After booking the trip we'd send you all the transportation methods and how to reach the accommodations step by step so it's very clear and easy. At the moment we don't have any travelers from Germany but you'd be on tours with other travelers (from around the world) so you'd have a chance to meet some others, and possibly other Germans as well. And are you interested in the hostel dorm package of in a private single room? The trip is confirmed also.

For the package starting on Friday, the 24th of April (3 nights), the supplement for the private single room in hotel would be €289. That is for a nice proper 3-star hotel in the center of Nice. The base price of the trip is the shared dorm hostel package which is much cheaper is you're looking to save money (also a great location).

Does this involve a lot of walking? Which 3 star hotel are we staying in?

Regarding walking, the Nice old town walking tour is around 2-2.5 hours or so, and the Monaco-Monte Carlo walking tour is around 2.5-3 hours. Of course you can leave the tours at any time if your husband gets tired. Neither of them are strenuous tours however and the walking is at a slow pace with lots of stops. We use several hotels, depending on availability, but typically the 3-star option is the Ibis Nice Centre Notre Dame.

Without a few hours of walking, it's not possible to see about 90% of the highlights you saw. We were happy to hear from our correspondence during the trip that you said you had really enjoyed the guides.

And as we are a tour & activity provider, we do not have any control or ability to determine who you meet as (especially if you attend as a solo traveler) or how friendly others are at the accommodations or on the tours. We of course always hope that our solo traveler customers will meet some like-minded friendly people.during the trip and can share some great memories together.

As a solo traveler, the tours are of course not private (1 on 1), and are with other travelers booked with us, and/or other general travelers (and that's a fun part of the trip is the chance to meet other travelers if you want!). Just had a trip around Nice, France and Monaco and it was an absolutely incredible experience: - for me the best part of the trip is the walking trip in the old town of Nice with aristocratically built houses. The artistic architecture of the buildings like town hall, fountain or cathedrals and the detailed carved statues and sculptures was simply a mesmerizing sightseeing. Apart from that, one can also find themselves hypnotized in narrow, steep alleys surrounded by colourful tall houses. This is really a place for someone who loves taking picturesque photos of old time European buildings, or for someone who just wants to escape from the city life. - also to mention is that Nice has a really lovely and beautiful beach with crystal clear water. With the nice warm sunny weather, one could really enjoy swimming in the water there for hours. The bonus part of this is there is an old castle on the hill located just near the beach, from where one can take a panorama picture of the blue water beach on one side and the red tiled roofs of nearby houses on the other side, separated in the middle by a curvy road. - the walking tour around Monaco was absolutely amazing as well. My tour was guided by a really professional and well organizing British and he showed us a lot of sightseeing in Monaco, from an old classic castle with an old town nearby, aquarium museum, cathedral, casino to the bay with lots of majestic, shinny yachts docked in there. - Nice as well as Monaco also have markets that offer really nice and exquisite street food like sanwiches with ham and melting cheese or patisserie like a small but fine cheese cake with vanilla flavour. - and the hostel room (in Nice, France) was absolutely a comfortable and clean and quiet place to stay at the end of the day after the long, tired walking trip. Bonus part about the hostel is that they also have a really nice and cozy student-bar in the ground floor with lots of games like billiard, darts, table tennis, where everyone, especially young people can meet up there and have a conversation. I find it a really good place to meet and get to know new people and learn about the french culture. All in one, this is a really good trip for someone who would like to embrace the old European aristocratic architecture and take home lots of beautiful pictures of buildings, beaches, etc. or just want to enjoy a day at a beautiful beach. I personally would love to visit both places here again because there are still many things yet for me to discover! DNShow more
