Arrival

Copenhagen
A guided tour takes you around Copenhagen to see The Little Mermaid, the colorful Nyhavn harbor with its row houses, Amalienborg Palace, Town Hall Square, and the Tivoli Park area. After the tour wraps up, the rest of your day is free to wander around the city on your own.

Copenhagen to Stockholm
You'll head to Elsinore to visit Kronborg Castle, then take a 20-minute ferry across to Sweden. From there, you'll drive through forests and pass large lakes on your way to Jönköping for lunch. Later, you'll stop in Vadstena to see its 14th-century castle-monastery before driving on to Stockholm, where you'll arrive this evening.

The afternoon is yours to explore on your own. Museums and parks make good options if you want suggestions.
