Kathmandu
You'll touch down in Kathmandu and meet your guides who give you a full orientation on what's ahead. They'll walk you through the mountain biking adventure and make sure you're ready for the terrain and conditions you'll encounter. This is where all the prep happens before you head out.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Dhap
The riding starts today as you pedal out from Kathmandu toward Dhap. You'll pass through traditional villages and roll past terraced fields, getting a real sense of how people live in these foothills. It's your introduction to the local landscape before things get more challenging.

Landmarks Dhap - Day 3
Dhap to Jhapre
From Dhap, you'll head to Jhapre on some rough mountain terrain in the Solu Khumbu region. The riding here is more technical, and you get your first real look at the Himalayan peaks that surround you. The views start getting serious on this stretch.

Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp
Today you're climbing toward Pikey Base Camp, which sits below the peak itself. The altitude builds gradually, and with each pedal stroke higher, the mountain scenery becomes more dramatic. It's demanding work but the views make it worth it.

- Day 5
Pikey Peak Summit
If you're willing to wake up before dawn, there's a trek to the Pikey Peak summit to catch sunrise. Snow-covered peaks spread out in front of you, including Everest on the horizon. It's early and tough, but most people find it worth the effort.

Pikey Base Camp to Junbesi
You'll ride down from Pikey Base Camp with views of Junbesi's terraced fields and villages appearing as you lose elevation. This day mixes descents with some rolling climbs, so it keeps you engaged the whole time. The terrain varies nicely and breaks up the challenge.

Junbesi to Phaplu
Your bike ride wraps up when you reach Phaplu, a village with its own character and cultural history. There are monasteries here worth checking out, and you'll have time to walk around and see how locals live. It's a good wind-down after all those days on the bike.

Landmarks Phaplu - Day 8
Phaplu to Kathmandu
You'll catch a flight out of Phaplu back to Kathmandu, and from the air you'll see the landscape you just rode through. The flight itself is scenic and gives you a final perspective on the mountains and valleys. Then you're back in the city with memories of Pikey Peak and everything you covered.
