After booking, customer service team advise that Iximché and Santiago Atitlán will be removed from the trip, and they will add Panajachel into the trip. Which seems all good; however, the truth is that they just delete the stop in the itinerary. And in fact, Panajachel is the town where hotel is located, they are telling you they will add one place that you will visit for sure. And they offer no tour at this place at all. They are just using beautiful wording to cover the ugly truth. In my opinion, this looks quite like scam. I would not recommend to book this trip, unless you are preparing for this.Show more

The tour it's self was good, and my tour guide for the Atitlan Lake part was exceptional. His name was Luis Diego....
The tour it's self was good, and my tour guide for the Atitlan Lake part was exceptional. His name was Luis Diego. But the company I booked with, Aborigen tried to change the tour. They planned to remove the two day trip to Atitlan saying there was an operational issue. I tried calling and texting to say doing a different half day was unexceptional as I had paid a large sum for the tour. Communication was poor with this company. In the end after I threatened to report them they came through with the tour that I booked. The half day portion in Antigua was poorly run. We visited the Jade museum and shop and ended up spending an extra hour there waiting for two people in our group to have jewelry made. Instead of telling these people to return on their own time the entire group sat around wasting time. The trip out to the lake with Diego was the highlight of the tour and highly recommend doing it.Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Receptivo Aborigen Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
