Participation Camping - This style of travel is very hands-on and social. The group is usually divided into small teams, with tasks rotating daily. These can include helping with meal preparation, washing up, packing the truck, and general camp duties. Travellers are also responsible for pitching and packing away their own tents, which your tour leader will guide you through. All camping equipment is provided except sleeping bags and pillows. This includes tents and sleeping pads for comfort while camping. On nights spent in hotels or lodges, you'll have standard beds and normal amenities. Excellent tour leader (and cooker/driver). Knox / Bonani. Long travel An unforgettable adventure with an excellent tour leader. Despite the long drives and early mornings, every moment was absolutely worth it. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife, including the Big Five — and even a lion hunting, which was a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience. The camping was well organised and enjoyable. We travelled in June, and in hindsight it might be better to go earlier in the year: nights were very cold, and setting up and taking down the tents in that weather was challenging. I especially loved the Okavango Delta, Kruger National Park, and the moments spent dancing with local communities. The food exceeded my expectations for a camping trip: varied, tasty, with plenty of vegetables and good options every day. Overall, a fantastic journey with lots of safari moments — truly unforgettable.Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
