Participation Camping - This style of travel is very hands-on and social. The group is usually divided into small teams, with tasks rotating daily. These can include helping with meal preparation, washing up, packing the truck, and general camp duties. Travellers are also responsible for pitching and packing away their own tents, which your tour leader will guide you through. All camping equipment is provided except sleeping bags and pillows. This includes tents and sleeping pads for comfort while camping. On nights spent in hotels or lodges, you'll have standard beds and normal amenities. June is winter in southern Africa, so nights can be cold therefore a warm sleeping bag is recommended. Yes, meat dishes are included and commonly served on the meals provided. If you have any dietary requirements or preferences, just let us know in advance so we can inform the local team and your tour leader.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
