Once your trip is confirmed, you will need to submit your application for your Turkmenistan Letter of Invitation no later than 40 days before the start of your tour and we will send this form to you to complete.

Asked on May 25th, 2025when booking the trip do I need to get each currency from my bank or will credit cards work in all of the countries? What would accommodation look like, are we staying at local's houses or in Airbnb/hotels? Is it guaranteed that there's a group of people or if I was the only person to book this tour, would I be alone? I'm a German citizen so would I have to get visas myself or would you take care of that for me?

In general Central Asia is a cash operating region, and travellers cheques are not recommended. Better to bring about 70 USD in small denominations: 1, 5 and 10 USD notes. Our tours are guaranteed, so even if only one person signs up we could still run the tour. Accommodations used each night are: Standard hotels (20 nts twin share), yurts (3 nts multishare up to 4 people per yurt), homestay (2 nt, multi-share room). Visa and entry requirements would be your responsibility to manage, but we can assist with the Turkmenistan Letter of Invitation.

The closes we have to your request is the Best of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan which is a 14 day tour visiting Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan. Alternatively the Best of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, visiting Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan which is 13 days.

Yes, you are able to arrive late on day 1. That would just mean that you will miss the welcome meeting but we can ask the CEO to leave you a note at reception on where and when to meet the group the next morning once you have booked your flights.
