Hi what time does the trip start on day 1 - the flight we have gets my parents into Cario at 6:10 am

Your parents can arrive anytime on Day 1, our team will meet them at the airport and provide a private transfer to the hotel, even if it's early in the morning. Since hotel check-in is normally around 2–3 pm, they can either: -Add an extra pre-night so the room is ready upon arrival, or -Store their luggage at the hotel and enjoy some time exploring Cairo until check-in.

We are interested in being on a tour that would permit us to see the total solar eclipse in August of 2027. It would mean being in Luxor on August 6th 2027. Will you have such a tour? If you will, I would be very interested in booking it.

Egypt is our core destination and we have many tours there so it's very likely we will have a tour that stays in Luxor in August. Unfortunately we don't have even schedules departures for 2026 not to mention 2027. It's just to early to predict which tours will be running around August in more than 2 years time. We should have our August 2027 tour released around Spring 2026.

The culture, ,the Egyptian sights and the Egyptian people were wonderful. However, the lack of logistical planning was horrendous. There was too much downtime like on the Nile cruise. The ship was antiquated, the Wii-fi didn’t work, the TV didn’t work and the lack of entertainment was a culture shock. The only entertainment on the ship was watching the young Egyptian men in a row boat throw packages of scarves onto the ship and the Chinese tourists throwing them back down. The hearing and cooling apparatus in the room was inefficient and the numbers on the dial, to regulate the temperature, was worn off. The ships were spewing black smoke which rendered the air noxious. We did not have one tour director throughout the whole trip, consequently we were tipping at least 2 different men every day as well as 2 different drivers. In addition, the food throughout the entire trip was abundant but bland and sometimes tasteless. It is false advertising to claim that it was a 5 star trip.Show more

For tours departing after November 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with On The Go Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
