Are excursions included in the Prague to Berlin river cruise? Does optional tour mean it costs extra?

Shore excursions are not included in the cruise price. Excursions can be added at an extra cost until 30 days prior to depart.

I would like a list of the optional excursions with prices in Euros as I can't make a decision on the total price without that. We would be looking for a double cabin on the main or upper deck in category A

CroisiEurope offers individual shore excursions in two categories: Classic & Discovery, the classic excursions are usually more gentle and slow pace while Discovery will involve more walking. You can book the excursions in advance or on board, the benefit of booking them earlier rather than on board is the reduced price. When you select 5 or more excursions a la carte, you'll receive a 5% discount on these.

Why do you keep sending this to me for the Prague trip when it shows all dates are booked. Are there any dates not booked?

We definitely do have many dates available for this cruise. I believe the website is showing you 'Not available in your region' as you are located in the US, however, please be assured that there is availability. We do have specific dates available in the months of October 2023, March 2024, April 2024, May 2024, October 2024, November 2024.

Do you require Covid vaccinations?

The operator will no longer require COVID vaccination or a COVID test. If you will meet all the conditions to enter the country, you will be authorized to board. You must follow the entry conditions of the destination.

The ship, Princess, was very nice; however due the Elbe river being low we ended up being bused for many hours to the various ports while our ship mostly stayed in one spot. They offered us free drinks to compensate but for those that do not drink this was of little help considering there was no refund for the many inconveniences and non relaxing time. This was the most expensive of all the river cruises I have ever done and the worst value for money. It was not company's fault that water level in Elbe was a problem but it was their decision NOT to notify travellers in advance (and today I read the reviews of other travellers that this is their practice not to inform travellers, keep them in the dark; they have been doing this in the past). We had to be transferred by coach to most tours, we have not been told how long the drive will be, we were NOT provided with water despite the fact that the price includes "unlimited drinks" even with alcohol. Such gross overcharge. Last year we travelled with Avalon and when the weather was awful due to pouring rain travellers were refunded money for the optional tour as a good will gesture. Due to all this coach rides there was no free time in the towns we visited as we had to rush back to the ship which was far away, often docked in boring "nothing to do" locations. CroisiEurope sell themselves as luxury cruises but compared to Uniworld, Viking and Avalon there is barely necessities covered, no luxury at all. Their accommodation is 3*, amenities in the bathroom include only soap and shampoo (no body lotion), 2 towels of 3* quality due to small size and no fluffiness. Food 4*. If you want fried eggs or an omelette, you have to queue as scrambled eggs are not in the menu and the choice of cold meats for breakfast is very poor.Show more
