Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
You'll land at Kilimanjaro Airport and work through customs before meeting your driver, who'll have a sign with your name. The drive to Arusha takes a couple hours, and you'll settle in at your hotel for the night.

Arusha National Park
After your hotel pickup around 7:30 am, you're heading 38km to Arusha National Park. The 552 sq km park has over 400 bird species here like flamingos, pelicans, and herons, plus zebras, elephants, giraffes, and monkeys. You can do a walking safari or canoe on Momella Lake depending on what appeals to you.

Tarangire National Park
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Tarangire National Park for the full day of game viewing. The Tarangire River never completely dries up, so it draws hundreds of animals during dry season. You'll see wildlife and birds across grassy savanna, swamps, and those iconic baobab trees.

Lake Natron
After breakfast and checking out, you're driving to Lake Natron to see its volcanic moon-like landscape. Once you get to Africa Safari Lake Natron Camp, you can relax by the pool or add on an extra activity if you want to do more.

Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park
You'll drive to Serengeti National Park after breakfast, going through the Ngorongoro conservation area. There's an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge (the cradle of mankind with fossils from 2 million years ago) for extra cost. Then it's game drives across the Serengeti's vast plains with big game, predators, the great migration, and Nile crocodiles.

Serengeti National Park
Today you're spending the full day relaxing and exploring the Serengeti. You'll see huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope alongside predators like lion and cheetah scattered around kopjes. The landscapes shift from open grass plains to woodland to black clay plains.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Early game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll descend 600m into the 16km wide crater. You might spot Tanzania's rare black rhinos and up to 20,000 large animals like lion, cheetah, eland, zebra, and gazelle. Stop at Makati Soda Lake for flamingos and birds, then head to your lodge.
