I went with no expectation with regard to the animals that I would see and was overwhelmed as one by one they showed themselves. Our guide was beyond amazing and was quick to point everything out and to explain things to us. A special thanks to Robert! We were also given cultural experiences, outside markets, Maasai village, artworks as well as some shows in our hotels/camps. The people were warm and welcoming wherever we went. After my kit was examined and any last-minute items sorted for rental, the Kilimanjaro ascent started the following day. I was overjoyed that the summit was successful and that the staff that was supplied was simply amazing.
