Is the Highlights of Scotland tour available for June 9th, 2026?

Highlights of Scotland on June 9th is currently On Request. G Adventures has a certain number of rooms and services that are allocated towards every single departure for the groups we book. When we are within the release space date, it means we have released the spaces we are holding for the group back to the suppliers, because we didn't fill the space as anticipated to avoid a penalty. This allows the hotels/services to sell the space to other operators/agents/individuals as requested. To request confirmation of the tour, G Adventures processes the full payment and sends the request to our local office to try and add you to the departure. It generally takes 2-3 business days to receive a response (though can take 1-2 weeks for Japan, Europe, Turkey and Roamies trips). If space is available, you will be booked and confirmed on the tour(s), if space is not available, then we can look at alternative tours, dates, or will issue a full refund if nothing else works for you. Travellers paying using a travel credit or LTD will have those reinstated (not refunded) We recommend holding off on arranging flights and travel insurance until the trip is confirmed, as there are often cancellation/change penalties. Once the request process has begun, should you decide to cancel or stop the request process, standard cancellation fees will apply should services be already confirmed.

We do offer enjoyable small-group touring experiences, and this itinerary has generally been very well received by travellers. Are these prices based on single or double occupancy?

All our tours are based on twin share rooming. If you have an odd number of travellers in your party, you can either share with another solo traveller of the same gender on the tour free of charge OR if you would prefer to add the "My Own Room" single supplement, we can do so for an additional 1699 CAD.

This tour size is max 16 travelers. We do not offer customized tours however, therefore, if taking this tour, it's important to stick to the tour program as outlined on the itinerary. You could add your own travel before or after.

Tour guide and bus driver were both excellent. Starting hotel was terrible and no where near the main area of Edinburgh. Breakfast there was a granola bar, croissant in a plastic wrap, a yogurt, and a juice box. Our hotel room in Inverness had a leaky ceiling which we reported to the front desk right away. They said they sent maintenance to fix the issue, but that evening it was leaking again. G Adventures itinerary is not reflective of the actual tour and for many extra activities listed there was no time to do them even if we had wanted to. Isle of Skye was a real highlight along with Inverness. We only received our tour vouchers the night before we left Canada and we had to call to get it. We will not consider G Adventures for any of our future travel needs.Show more

- For any tour departing before August 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
