  We enjoyed our cruise. It was great! 👍 We were the only English speaking onboard, an all German cruise. However when we booked we understood it was a German company and that was a possibility but it didn’t take anything away from our experience. All the crew speak English and never did we not know where we needed to be or doing. We enjoyed the smaller villages that we stopped at and could explore on our own. The food onboard was amazing. We had a fabulous entertainer on board, her name was Karina and her shows were amazing. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The spa services were great 👍 We really enjoyed our cruise. What we liked was we visited places not so touristy and the ship dock was a short walk from the township. We visited places we wouldn’t have been able to visit or actually know to visit!   Our family of five recently sailed with A-ROSA, and we are already talking about when we can go again. What stood out most was how A-ROSA managed to feel both elevated and comfortable at the same time. The ship was beautiful, the service was excellent, and everything felt thoughtfully designed without ever feeling stuffy or pretentious. We could relax and simply enjoy our vacation. As a family, the children's program was one of the highlights of the trip. Our youngest would have happily spent every waking moment in Kids Club if we had let him! The staff did a wonderful job creating a welcoming environment, and it gave us confidence that our children were having just as much fun as we were. The family cabin was another huge win. Traveling as a family of five can be challenging, but the cabin was comfortable, functional, and allowed us to stay together without feeling cramped. Combined with the kids-sail-free promotion, the value was truly phenomenal. We were amazed by how much we experienced for the price. As English-only speakers, we were initially a little nervous about language barriers, but we quickly realized we had nothing to worry about. Every crew member we interacted with spoke excellent English and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The one thing we missed was the traditional dining room experience that we're accustomed to on many ocean cruises. That said, we genuinely enjoyed the buffet offerings throughout the sailing. There was a great variety of food, and our server was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and one of the many crew members who helped make the experience special. One thing that became apparent throughout the week was that A-ROSA genuinely seems to take care of its staff. You could see it in the atmosphere onboard and in the faces of the crew. The service felt warm and authentic, and that speaks volumes about a company. This trip exceeded our expectations in so many ways. From the family-friendly atmosphere to the beautiful destinations and exceptional value, A-ROSA delivered an unforgettable experience for our family. We are already dreaming about the day we can sail with A-ROSA again.Show more

  My wife and I have been on three A-Rosa cruises and are looking forward to planning our next trip. This tour of the Moselle and Rhine was spectacular. We enjoyed the small towns, the food on-board and the always attentive staff. The ships are always comfortable. This time we brought our son’s family and we especially appreciated the attention given to our 7-year old grandson by the captain and hotel manager. Others have commented on being on a German cruise line with mostly German speakers. While we were the only Americans, there were dozens of passengers from Wales and England. Frankly, we prefer being with Germans when we are in Germany. If we wanted to hang out with Americans, we’d vacation in Dallas. We were sad to miss being able to visit Trier due to low water level, but have deep respect for how well A-Rosa dealt with the challenge.Show more
