You will be transferred to your lodge/hotel in Livingstone at no additional cost. The second option is for you to fly in through Victoria Falls Int’l Airport in neighboring Zimbabwe. You will be transferred to Livingstone Zambia at an additional extra cost.

What are some of the advantages of flying in through any of the two Int’l Airports?

Arriving through Livingstone’s Harry Mwanga Nkumbula Int’l Airport in Zambia takes away some stress out of our journey to Southern Africa. However, Victoria Falls Int’l Airport has a more international flavor than Livingstone’s airport. More direct long haul international flights land in Victoria Falls town.

So, if I arrive through Victoria Falls Int’l Airport in Zimbabwe, what happens to me?

Well, we will definitely pick you up and transfer you to Livingstone, Zambia through Victoria Falls land Border. Please provide us with the name of the airline you will use, flight name, date and time of arrival at Victoria Falls Airport way in advance before your arrival in Victoria Falls town.

What type of accommodation do you provide during this tour?

I would never travel with Lockinvar Tours again, this is the company that Tour Radar used for our trip from Zambia to...
I would never travel with Lockinvar Tours again, this is the company that Tour Radar used for our trip from Zambia to Botswana. . I have tried to get in touch with Tour radar, in Brisbane but to no avail, nobody answers my calls, then I get cut off. My grief is that first of all we were booked in to Livingstone Lodge, not only was there not electricity but no water for a shower. Yes we complained and were moved to a very nice place. Pictures available. We hen we arrived in Maun, we were taken to a self catering motel, with not restaurant for us to be able to eat nowhere to buy a coffee, glass of wine nothing. We were booked in for 4 nights, obviously this was unacceptable and were asked to move somewhere with at least a restaurant. Mark, an employee of Lockinvar Tours said he had already paid for the accommadation and didn’t have the funds available until he was refunded. We said that we would pay for another on the previso that when he was refunded he would deposit the money in to our bank accounts, which we gave him the full details. We ended up booking 4 nights at The Mokoro Lodge, Maun. A cost of Australian dollars $584.00 per person. We have the hard copy proof from Mokoro of this. Our tour guide Nesti told us that Mark was reimbursed the following day and would be depositing our money on the following Tuesday as it was a long weekend in Zambia. to date nothing has been deposited in to my account or my travelling companions. Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Lochinvar Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 33 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
