i am interested in booking this tour . Two questions 1- my son is 14yo. Is that ok? 2- is this a guaranteed departure (Dec 21+) I am open to other balkan options that are guaranteed and allow a 14yo as long as they are not too long

We have availability for this tour below in December, starting on 19 December 2026 for you and your son. Please note that children aged 12 and above are charged at the adult rate.

The tour will be operated as a small group tour from day 4 from Meteora. From Athens to Meteora part (day 1 until day 3) will be with a local guide and shared group services. From Day 4 in Meteora until the last day Day 10 the tour will be operated with a private guide and vehicle. On the final day our guide will drop the passengers at Meteora Bus Station where they will take the 5:45 PM bus to Athens. They are expected to arrive in Athens at approximately 10:30 PM, where the tour will end. We can also add post tour accommodation in Athens if they wish. Alternatively if Day 10 feels too long for them we can arrange an additional night in Meteora and they can return to Athens the following day.

On the last day, you will have bus transportation from Meteora at 5:00 PM, arriving in Athens at 10:20 PM. We recommend booking a post-stay accommodation and arranging an airport transfer the following day for your flight.
