Asked on September 9th, 2025Is this a group tour or a private tour. If group, how many in the group and how many people in your safari vehicle? (we prefer small group tours)
Home to AfricaOperator•Written September 2025This is a private tour. It will be only you (2) + the 1 assigned Tour Driver-guide. The guide will be with you from pick up to drop off.

Traveler•Written September 2025Is there electricity in all the accommodations - I use a CPAP machine at night?
Home to AfricaOperator•Written September 2025You still fall in the accepted age group. Most of the activities are not strenuous and that should be just fine with your age. It is the gorilla trekking that is strenuous but we have seen a great number of 70-year old finish successfully. You do not need extreme physical fitness but a good level of physical fitness should see you (both) through.
Home to AfricaOperator•Written September 2025The trek for gorillas may take between 2-6 hours (before actual encounter) depending largely on the movement of the gorillas. The chance of encounter is 99%. Once with the gorillas, you will be allowed an hour of encounter which is so heartwarming and simply, unforgettable.
Home to AfricaOperator•Written September 2025Tipping has been and is always a difficult one to say (for sure) as it depends largely on the level of gratitude one has felt for the service rendered, and of course the budget or one's generosity too. Nonetheless, it could be USD 10, 15, 20, etc. per day but put together (for driver-guide) and give at the end as you say 'Goodbye'.
Home to AfricaOperator•Written September 2025Yes, A good number of lodges have electricity (either solar or direct from the national grid) to run the machine. Alternatively, they can use a power generator. In situations where the use of a generator is required, the facility may request for some funds (in the range 50-100$) to facilitate buying fuel enough to run the generator overnight.

Asked on September 12th, 2024Can you please provide the names of the accommodations to the hotels/lodges, etc.? Also, would it be possible to upgrade the accommodations if we wanted to?
Home to AfricaOperator•Written September 2024The above properties fall in the 3 or 3.5-star category. However, they are clean, with good service and all come with en suite facilities (i.e. private toilet, bathroom). Beds are all fitted with mosquito nets. If looking for simple, clean and comfortable places to stay, the above are just fine. But if looking beyond that, then upgrade will be needed. Beware! The upgrade to another level accommodation facilities will lead to very significant rise in quote.

Asked on May 8th, 2024I am interested in this tour. I am a solo traveller but I can join the group. I would like to travel in July, Can you inform me about the possibilities?
Home to AfricaOperator•Written May 2024Yes, it is still possible to go on this safari in the month of July. As a solo traveler, you won't share the safari vehicle. You will be assigned a Professional English-speaking Tour Driver-guide and a 4x4 safari car. At the accommodations you will stay in your private room with en suite facilities. The quote is USD 5633 for solo traveler. This includes park entrance fees, rhino tracking fee, bottled water, all airport/hotel pick-ups and drop offs, Bwindi Gorilla trekking permit, Kibale Chimp trekking permit, and all activities as stipulated in the itinerary.

Asked on March 13th, 2024I need to correct the dates as soon as possible. How can I do it? I also would like to ask the approximate time we will back to Entebbe on the last day of the safari. I need to plan accordingly for my flight back to the USA.
Home to AfricaOperator•Written March 2024As of this writing, there is no other person that is confirmed for this trip. That means at the moment, it is only you confirmed for this trip. Implication: If it stays this way and no one joins you, it means you will be required to pay for single supplement which is USD 1542 in addition to the USD 3908. In total, that will be USD 5450. May you confirm if you agree to this? If you agree, then our Reservations Team can proceed with the arrangement. Otherwise, we will be unable to proceed.
