  I did a 6-day classic budget camping and culture tour of Tanzania with Seven Wonders Safaris. It was one of the best decisions we made in Africa! The real cultural interaction with the Bushmen (Hadza tribe) was very special. Our guide, Joseph, was great - very knowledgeable, funny, and always took care of us. Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable. I've seen a lot of animals, including the Big Five. The food was also good for the budget. This tour is highly recommended for those who want good wildlife, culture and adventure but don't want to spend a lot of money!Show more

Seven Wonders Safaris nailed the balance of adventure and comfort—game drives in Serengeti were epic (cheetahs up close!), and the Ngorongoro descent was breathtaking. Our group of 4 bonded over campfire stories, and the guide handled everything seamlessly. Medium intensity suited me fine (some walking, but doable), and the price can't be beat for such top-notch wildlife spotting. English-guided and hassle-free—book it!Show more

Visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro gave us a complete taste of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, always making sure we got the best wildlife sightings. Seeing elephants in Tarangire and the vast plains of Serengeti was truly amazing. Ngorongoro Crater was also a highlight, packed with animals and breathtaking views. The camping experience was better than expected—clean tents, good food, and a great team supporting us throughout.   Went on a budget camping trip. Tony was very good. He was always smiling and knew a lot. I have seen many elephants in Tarangire, lions and cheetahs in Serengeti, almost all of the Big Five in Ngorongoro Crater. It was really fun to spend time with the Hadzabe Bushmen at Lake Eyasi. They hunted, they collected honey - it was a very different experience. The campground was simple but clean. The food was well-cooked, there was fresh fruit and BBQ every day. Tony always helped us and took us to a good place to take pictures. It's really great to have such a beautiful safari + cultural experience within a budget.Show more

  We did this 6-day camping safari in March 2026 with Seven Wonders Safaris and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived in Arusha, everything was well-organized. Our guide Samuel was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, patient, and he knew exactly where to find the animals. We saw huge herds of elephants in Tarangire on day 1, tree-climbing lions in Lake Manyara, endless plains and big cats in Serengeti, and the magical Ngorongoro Crater on the last day. The picnic lunches in the middle of the bush were such a special touch. Even though it's a budget camping tour, the tents were clean, comfortable and safe. Meals were delicious and plentiful (especially the breakfasts and dinners). The group size was small (only 5 of us), so it felt very personal. If you're looking for an authentic Tanzania safari without spending a fortune, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended! Would definitely book with Seven Wonders again.Show more

  When we entered Tarangire, the first thing we saw was a huge herd of elephants. Then I saw a lion in the trees of Lake Manyara. Words cannot express the feeling of being close to the Great Migration after spending two days in Serengeti. In the end, after descending to Ngorongoro Crater, it was heartwarming to see the line, the leopard, the rhino. Even though it was a budget camping, the tents were clean, the food was fresh and good every day. The guide made every moment special for us - we all laughed and joked together in a small group. This trip is truly life-changing, thank you so much for the Seven Wonders Safaris!Show more

  When we entered Tarangire National Park, we were fascinated by the huge elephant herd. The movement of elephants among the baobab trees is truly a remarkable sight. The next day the birdlife and greenery of Lake Manyara National Park gave a different feeling. The colorful birds looked like a picture of nature. A full day game drive in Serengeti National Park was the highlight of the entire trip. To see the lion, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest together in the midst of endless plains is truly a dream. Finally, after descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, seeing so much wildlife in one day - from rhinos to buffaloes - is difficult to explain in words. All of the accommodations were nice and comfortable.Show more

  Our budget camping safari was truly a thrill. On the very first day in Tarangire, we saw the huge elephant herd very closely, which was like a movie scene for us. Going to Lake Manyara is an amazing experience to see a lion sitting on a tree. In Serengeti, the sky was filled with dust from numerous zebras and wildebeest, and it was truly unimaginable to see so many animals in one day inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide was a very knowledgeable and funny man, who explained the behavior of each animal very well. The food at the camp was even better than expected, making our trip even more magical with a sea of stars in the night sky.Show more

  Despite being a budget camping tour, Seven Wonders Safaris managed everything very well. Breakfast and dinner were delicious every day. Accommodations were comfortable and safe. We were lucky in Serengeti - we could see cheetah hunting and family of lions from close. And when the black rhino came to Ngorongoro Crater on the last day, it seemed that the trip ended perfectly.Show more
